Absolutely no way that is the end of a Sharon/Zoe feud. They're doing very well at referencing the details of what happened in 2005 given a % of viewers won't have been watching. It was quite the iconic storyline really so it's good they're not brushing over it. Looks like a love triangle is about to happen between Freddie, Oscar and this Jasmine. Possibly could lead to Freddie's exit? He's been a little useless of late. That scene in The Albert with him making cocktails, Cindy's outburst and Jean/Mo was really cringey.

Honestly one of their best. It has held up incredibly well and like Aly says hasn't dated whatsoever. The whole One Touch era feels timeless.
  5. yay at RAYE being Top 10 on AM already
  6. 12th October there is a 'Best Selling Singles of the 00s' special to mark 70 years of POTP (the other decades 70s-90s are getting shows too)

Pete Tong's Essential History of Dance returns for a second run of episodes after a fantastic batch of genre related eps previously. Looks like he's doing specific years, starting with 2000 from this Saturday at 7pm on Radio 1 Dance. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0022y6c
  8. No thanks x2 It adds nothing at all to the original. Nice that Natalie recorded the video though

I see Lauren has now acknowledged Jay's "exit" on screen and looks like I was right to call out it being "Bert falls ill". They'll obv have to address the fact that he won't be returning at some point again too. I have really warmed to Julie recently. Having her away from Nigel and integrating with others has worked really well this week. The scenes between her and Joel today were ace. I can see some school scenes on the horizon, something we've not really had since the era of Bex, Louise etc. Even the current set of teens haven't really had any school scenes yet so now is the perfect opportunity to do this.

I did wonder the whole writing approach there to Callum wanting to tell everyone they're together. Like, um, you're married to Ben? Probably need to deal with that first hun before telling the likes of Kathy and Phil (though interested for that reaction, Part II) that you're dating Johnny.

Obsessed with Zoe's non-reaction to Vicki each time she's mentioned. Also "E-LAINE" isn't funny.
