Mayhem ● 7th album
But anyway, she still hasn't landed in the UK to promote Mayhem on a TV show or special, so the lukewarm reception of the album is understandable. TV promotion was US-centric, she hasn't promoted an album on TV outside the US since Joanne. She's not one of those young TikTok chicks, she still needs traditional promotion. Although these chicks promote their albums better for the streaming era: Sabrina, Tate, Gracie, all have already released deluxe versions of their successful albums. Charlie (not that young in age, but young in the public consciousness) didn't let the success of Brat cool down and followed it up with that remix album with guest artists etc. Gaga hasn't moved yet.

Mayhem ● 7th album
I hope it's not as useless on the charts as the Harlequin special.

Mayhem ● 7th album
US 73 (119) 48 MAYHEM What a healthy rise. I hope it can get back into the Top 50 this week after her surprise Super Bowl performance.

Mayhem ● 7th album
UK 173 (196) 48 MAYHEM UK should take notes with the US... It seems that none of her promotional efforts in this era are working in the UK charts due to its questionable rules. The only thing that could revive the album would be a new single, deluxe, Glastonbury set or like a 5-nights run at the Wembley.

Estimated ACR status updates 2026
Knocking on record label doors until you make it is different from being signed to a record label and shooting in all directions until you succeed. And Gaga isn't the saint you see in photos, interviews, and award shows. Nobody knew she hated Katy until her texts with Kesha about the Dr. Luke drama leaked. I'm sure no TikTok artist has ever impressed Gaga, maybe Chappell, and that's it.

Gaga could sell crumbs and still be the most talented living artist, still selling out shows and winning Grammys but she always sells well because she has a loyal audience. Anomalies like the ASIB era only happen once in an artist's career, so it's not a demerit that she doesn't always sell at that level although her best-selling album remains her debut. I recognize talent when I see it, unlike basic bitches who are products of record labels and who blow up through a lot of backstage bribery after their first attempt fails. No TikTok artist will become a legend of Gaga's caliber (or a legend at all), she was the last one to manage to enter the pantheon of the music industry, so look for another target.

Mediocre artists have an expiration date, unless you're Taylor Swift. Ed Sheeran is far from his peak now and is struggling to sell. Alex Warren, whom you all hate so much in this forum, has a much greater vocal power than Olivia Dean, but of course the basic girl will be defended by gays, to fit into your woke agenda.

I'm talking about her image as an artist, not a specific song. Nobody knew this girl till yesterday, and out of nowhere she's at the top of the charts, and they want to convince me it's all organic when her first album was a colossal flop. No doubt her label had to send some checks around to finally make her break into the industry...

Do you really want anyone to believe that in the TikTok era, a girl whose first album was a total flop worldwide became an overnight success without all the machinery and payola behind her? Okay lol.

It's a UK-only thing. Her next album will do well by riding the coattails of the album that made her blow up, but I don't see her lasting until the end of the decade. She lacks electrolytes.

Not a big Billie fan, but I like some of her songs.

Fate of Vanilla finally hitting ACR. Mediocrity sells so well these days... I hope industry plant Olivia Dean will only be a one-album wonder. She makes me fall asleep.
