It's interesting looking back on here at older posts of the KISS playlist. They were playing more new stuff. Now, it's like a cross between Hits Radio and KISSTORY. I've also noticed that from 2020-2023, there was more dance music playlisted. Why mess with a formula that works?

They used to play remixes. Not so much now.

Loved 'America' by Razorlight back in the day. Beautiful song. Takes me back to more innocent times.

It seems around this time there was a trend of sampling 70s and 80s songs and putting a house beat over the top of them.

It is a strange choice. Also, I'm sure I heard one of the presenters on KISS refer to the song as "new".

I heard BBC Radio 1 playing this song today and I had to stop what I was doing and listen to it because it was so beautiful. Greg James revealed that the song was called 'Of Amber' by Jacob Alon. I hope this gets more airplay or features on TikTok in the near future. More people need to hear this.

I think 'Push the Button' has gone down as one of the most memorable songs of the 2000s. You always hear it played on 2000s themed radio shows.

Not a bad list. I like that Maroon 5 song even though it wasn't up to the standard of their earlier music. The last decent James Bond film soundtrack was Skyfall.
