The Saturdays: What Goes on Tour
Five-part music and entertainment series following the highs and lows of top girl-group The Saturdays' UK tour Episode 1 - May 14 - 10am In the opening episode, Rochelle chats about the rigorous rehearsals the band have been through ahead of their first show in Liverpool. Tears and dramas ensue as pressure mounts on the girls. Can they live up to the hype and be ready for opening night? Episode 2 - May 14 - 12.20pm With the tour in full swing, the girls start to go stir crazy backstage and hijack a pantomime horse. Frankie introduces some of her favourite tour companions and the girls give exclusive performances of 'Work' and 'Forever is Over'. Episode 3 - May 15 - 7.25am Mollie reveals what happened when the band went to Manchester and Wolverhampton. Later, the tour begins to take its toll on the girls, although there's still time for a little love in the air. Episode 4 - May 15 - 10.15am Vanessa takes a trip to the Sylvia Young Theatre School where she was a pupil. Meanwhile, the tour heads to her hometown of London for one of the show's most important dates yet. In rehearsals tempers fray as the girls experience some technical difficulties. Will they be able to perfom? Episode 5 - May 15 - 11.10am The Saturdays go to Ireland for the final dates of their tour and local girl Una takes it upon herself to guide the others around the country. Later, she is tasked with arranging the tour's wrap party. Frankie falls ill and is unsure if she'll be able to perform. This post has been edited by 2ndAdventure: 6th May 2011, 04:12 PM |

This should help get the viewers to get to know each girl individually, I guess but surely they'd all be doing the same thing anyway?
May. |

I think it's a great idea to show them individually, so people will get to know more of them as different people. Although I suspect they'll get more benefits from this show than the proper TV channel.
And I'm sure the crew has assured not to repeat too much the group scenes, and anyway they'll focus on how X girl gets along with the rest, so every episode will show a different perspective. I'm SO excited about this!! |

Hmmm, Brilliant news! Will also help Singles like Higher etc getting a couple more downloads. This will lead onto Single 10 and hopefully there popularity will be in full swing! Really hope it also helps Headlines to 200k!

T4? So it's not a show itself, just a segment?

It's not for 5 weekends. The Music Week article states that they'll all be shown over 1 weekend.
"C4 will broadcast a "stunt weekend" with The Saturdays, which will see each of the five members of the girl band author a 20-minute programme based around their recent UK tour. These will go out during one weekend in May." |

How weird is that the documentary airs 14-15 of May, when Notorious is released two weeks later.
