Posted February 23, 201312 yr Surely this has got to be a future single? Its crying out to be a massive hit. Instant standout from a very average album. Any news on whether it will be released at some point? Edited January 6, 201411 yr by *Tim
February 25, 201312 yr Well I have a feeling that the 4th single will be a terrible song, such as Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Song and Nobuhry Bidne.
April 27, 201312 yr I could think of worse choices, but honestly there is not one real killer or standout song on this album. Definitely her worst era and album to date. I'll wait and see what she comes up with next time...
April 27, 201312 yr this would easily be the best single from this era, all of them have ranged from 'good' to 'abominable'. this however is SO good, although I'd prefer 'jump' which is that bit better.
April 27, 201312 yr Amazing choice!! Was hoping it would be this or my second choice would've been 'Jump' so I'm very happy!
April 27, 201312 yr Author I think its a great song. Don't think the album is very good though. Only 3 or 4 great songs on there!
April 27, 201312 yr Well, it could be worse (Loveeee Song, Noburrys Bidne), like I said a few posts above. Would've preferred Jump like everyone else.
April 28, 201312 yr Great to see this being chosen. With the recent trend for dance music going on this could be massive. I do feel sad that Pour It Up will now always be known for being Rihanna's floppiest single, I really love it and imo it deserves to swap chart runs with Stay. I guess it also helps that since the release of Unapologetic, Nicky Romero has had 2 UK hits including a #1 - so people are used to his sound (before anyone corrects me, yes David Guetta is the only credited featured artist but Nicky Romero (and Stargate) was/were also involved in the production of the song) Edited April 28, 201312 yr by Thermometer
April 28, 201312 yr I'd probably have preferred Jump too, but my faves on the album are Stay, Diamonds, Love Without Tragedy, Jump and Right Now so I'm more than happy with this too. Love Without Tragedy would've been fantastic but it's too similar to Diamonds and another downtempo after that and Stay wouldn't be the best choice. Right Now should be quite big, probably at least as big as Stay. It is a shame Pour It Up hasn't done well though :(
April 28, 201312 yr Great single choice for variety's sake, but one of the most average on the album. Can any of Lost In Paradise/Jump/What Now be released after this AND we get a single edit of Love Without Tragedy because I want it a bit longer (and having to skip Mother Mary is a mild inconvenience).
April 28, 201312 yr Best choice, it's the best thing on Unapologetic IMO. Only Diamonds runs it close.
April 28, 201312 yr Not a fan of 'Right Now' but I knew it was going to happen sooner or later :( . I hope there's going to be a killer music video though. I would have preferred 'No Love Allowed', 'Lost In Paradise' or a single edit of 'Love Without Tragedy' though. I wish they made more effort with 'Pour It Up' in the UK.
April 28, 201312 yr I wish she'd push "Pour It Up". Radio 1 playlisted it and it tanked, there's no amount of pushing that piece of turd which would do anything.
April 28, 201312 yr 'Lost In Paradise' would have been far more preferable to me, but after 'Pour It Up' not going top 75 despite radio 1 playlisting and (albeit very little) Capital playing it, I think it makes sense to go for this as it's by far the safest (and still a good choice) option.
