October 5, 201311 yr Hey, splitting BJSC history into eras was my idea! Incidentally just realised the Carellis era of Persephonia will have lasted twice as long as the Egabbac era after this contest. (lovely thread)

October 28, 201311 yr Author LIX. The first foreign language track sent in a normal contest by Skall. MUL-mjDHNO0 FUCKING STUNNING. Erm, yeah so this got Skall's joint worst result for any contest-with-a-semifinal. One place lower and I would've actually regretted sending my most niche/daring entry in over a year. Next contest we are aiming to entice back voters in their thousands tens and will send a track that completely contrasts with last month's entry: it sheds 1987's mysterious but melancholic otherworldliness in place of a tumultuous and overwhelming 4:43 of triumphant euphoria. Sporting a baroque influence, it has choral singing, horns and flutes. Yay for pretentious journalistic language. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kxbxweimBY1qzx0kho1_500.jpg Edited October 28, 201311 yr by Harve
October 29, 201311 yr Oh, 'Ocean' was a foreign language song. That explains why I didn't understand a word of it.
October 29, 201311 yr How the times have changed, I can't imagine the majestic 'She's Got Me Dancing' not getting top-5 now, let alone DNQing!
October 29, 201311 yr Author How the times have changed, I can't imagine the majestic 'She's Got Me Dancing' not getting top-5 now, let alone DNQing! Y'think? I'm sure it would've done a bit better, but I think it sounds quite dated now! Still love it tho somehow <3 Phoenix, Fever Ray and Passion Pit would SURELY have done way, way better. In fact, they should retrospectively be crowned the winners. Can we just re-run the contests please?

January 14, 201411 yr Author [*] I'll do better next time [*] that's a promise [*] see yous next year [*] I may need to break my promise [*] but hopefully not ebjXsc0UjdQ You've probably heard this on the dancefloor sometime over the past two years, but for the sake of INSPIRATION hopefully not everyone can put a name to the track. And WHAT a track. My GOD. I know I've sent plenty of catchy stuff before but this really takes the biscuit. <3333333
January 14, 201411 yr finally got round to hearing this a few weeks ago (and can confirm it's quite the JAM <3), kinda surprised it took you this long to enter it tbh :kink:
