I thought I'd make a thread for this seeing as it's officially confirmed now, was done so by Frankie in the mailer:

Win a pair of Sats 2014 tour tickets!

We hope you've enjoyed all the #25SaturDaysOfXmas fun this month and congrats to all the winners!

On Christmas Day, we've got an extra special prize to give away - a pair of tickets to our 2014 tour (dates announced very soon!) with meet-and-greet passes!

We'll be letting you know how to enter on Christmas morning!

So what are your expectations for the tour? Will they do arenas again? What will the setlist include? Speculate here ^_^

I hope they go all out and open with Nit Giving Up and end on Leave A Light On :D

Not another headlines repeat though. The tour wasn't ALL THAT!!

I'm sure What About Us will be the opener won't it?>

I think What About Us will open and close.

I really really hope they keep my fave singles in... Missing You, All Fired Up and Higher. I'd say My Heart Takes Over too but I won't hold my breath :(

I want it to be Arena's but i'd rather a six date Arena tour that they sell than half empty or cancelled 20-date one!

I don't know why, I have a feeling they won't be doing Missing You, I'm hoping for Wildfire and all of the new album tracks, maybe White Lies too!
I think it'd be foolish for them to ditch Missing You. All of their Top 5 hits should stay. I would be elated if they performed Wildfire though I doubt it'll happen.

What About Us will likely be near the end, it's their biggest hit and it'd be silly to get it out of the way first IMO. Can see them closing with it, an artist normally closes with an uptempo that's a fan favourite on their tour and what better than What About Us?
My heart dropped when I saw this topic thinking it had release dates! I think WAU will close, combination of arena and theater venues. So excited though :)
Yep :) Things like this happen all the time, not just for us. Frankie will and SHOULD be on maternity leave for atleast 4 or 5 months I reckon!!

I would love the set list to be:

My Heart Takes Over

Last Call

White Lies

Wish I Didn't Know

...

What About Us

So a three year gap between touring, and a two year gap between albums?

Lazy lazy lazy

(I kid. I know there's issues with Frankie but it's not really ideal at serving their loyal fanbase is it?)

I agree, it's a reason why its hard to maintain any success they have

I'd say caring for a baby is more important than touring, which is totally understandable.

Why can't everyone wrap their heads around this? :(

Oh come on. We love The Sats and want them to be happy and stuff but on face value, they're shit at pretty much everything lately. If you just look at them as a girlband then they're just sloppy as hell. I can excuse them because I've watched their shows and flips and know they're the sweetest girls ever, but in terms of their work they just fail to do anything correctly. A tour should have been announced after the momentum of What About Us and tickets should have been on sale BEFORE Christmas, but pregnancies have got in the way again.

Waiting three years between tours, and two years between albums when they spend 90% of the year on holiday and having time off or "recording" is a bit of a piss take let's face it.

It really is rediculous. They need to make decisions and STICK to them. This tour just keeps getting pushed back. What on earth is going on? We've gone from tickets going on sale a few weeks after the Gentleman release, when Frankie's back, and now this. Why are they giving away tour tickets to a tour that's now going to be taking place at the end of 2014? It seems far too early. I think the best thing they could have done was book arenas and put tickets on sale for an arena tour as soon as What About Us went to number one. I realise there was no album at the time, and the tour probably wouldn't even have a name, but they could have sold so many tickets by now. I realise that Frankie can't just drop Parker at the drop of the hat, but it looks completely stupid to go back for one performance and then change her mind and decide she needs more time off. It's just unprofessional. I realise she is entitled to a lengthy maternity leave but it's a bit different when you're part of a popband where you need to constantly work to promote the band. As I fan, I am losing the will to live with them  it's been over two years since they toured. We have been waiting far too long for this. I honestly don't care and see no embarrassment with them going back to theatres. They could still put on a decent show. If they make a decision to take a break, I don't see how on earth it's justified when they're hardly at work anyway.

Jesus Christ guys are you for real? Do you actually think through what you are writing?

We are really LUCKY that they are even still around. A lot of bands would somehow end once a single member has a baby let alone 3. Having 3 years between tours and 2 years between albums is a pretty standard thing in music and it tends to work. The only thing they are ever "sloppy" with is their vocals in their performances IMO. Tour tickets usually go on sale when the album has been released to see if there is enough want for one. I'm incredibly surprised that they have even announced a tour should be happening next year with the sales this has been getting. Saying It should have been announced when WAU was released is ludicrous.

You also clearly don't understand or realise the amount of work it takes to be even remotely successful in the pop industry. These girls work incredibly hard throughout the year. Do a lot of other acts put more work in? Yes but they will/have burnt out a lot quicker than these girls will. Do they take holidays at weird and bad times? Yes they do but at the end of the day it's their decision and they probably do need a holiday after release weeks with the amount of early mornings and late nights you have to do. One of the most tiring things to do is travel and they have to do a lot of that.
