Welcome to Round 2 of your fave One Direction single, and we have said goodbye to 3 One Direction singles, which is pretty steep but none of them gathered any votes, and now with just 9 singles left just vote for your fave.

 

In round one we have said goodbye to flop singles Gotta Be You & Midnight Memories, but the biggest shock of all was Little Things going so soon, given the fact that it was a #1 hit, but oh well Buzzjack have spoken and the winner of round one was "What Makes You Beautiful" with 5 votes, followed by Best Song Ever with 3 and More Than This and Kiss You had 2, and One Thing, Live While We're Young, One Way Or Another, Story Of My Life and You & I each managed 1.

Released in November 2011 and entered the UK charts at #3, following on the success of their debut "What Makes You Beautiful", this didn't quite match the success and had a quick decline on the charts and was therefore not given a worldwide release apart from Ireland where it also charted at #3. Not one of they're better songs and many thought the b-side "Another World" was a better choice, upon release of the album in the USA this track managed to peak at #124 due to digital downloads.

Now this is a surprise given the fact that this was a massive chart topper, released in December 2012 as the 2nd single from their second album "Take Me Home" and written by Ed Sheeran and split fans and critics right down the middle, but never the less it became their 2nd UK chart topper and is currently their 4th biggest selling UK single. Worldiwde "Little Things" hit #2 positions in Ireland and New Zealand, top 10 in Australia and top 20 in Canada, while hitting top 40 positions in Denmark, Sweden, Swiss and USA selling over a million copies over there.

Another track not managing to gain a single vote is recent flop single "Midnight Memories", released in March of this year and became they're first single to miss the UK top 20 by peaking at #39 and caused controversy as it was sound similar to Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and was even taken to court by the band members, but things were quickly settled. The title track was the 3rd single from the third album of the same name and failed to match the success of previous hits but it had a better reception worldwide by hitting top 10 peaks in Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Netherlands and Italy and top 20 peaks in USA, France and Mexico. Although many seen that this wasn't a great single choice as there were many other stronger tracks on the album.
