Topic will of course be updated later today...but for now, from the man himself:
QUOTE @ollyofficial: 1st day of gym time in 2015!! Not looking forward to this but it's needed! Plus its 3rd single announcement time too?! What we thinking?!😝 I should perhaps point out here that not many weeks ago, his official newsletter had a survey asking fans what their favourite song from 'Never Been Better' was, which I can only assume was helping to determine what the third single would be. I am therefore thinking it'll be 'Did You Miss Me' but I guess we'll have to wait and see. This post has been edited by ThePensmith: 29th March 2015, 08:17 AM |

Officially confirmed as (one of my personal favourites) 'Seasons' that he worked with Ryan Tedder on!
Listening post is up: I did vote for this one in the fan survey as my favourite so I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one who felt the same. |

This is a good choice, I think I should buy this album coz luv the tracks I've heard so far the singles Wrapped Up and Up were great, Seasons will be another big hit for him and also really getting into Did You Miss Me which will probably be the 4th single.

This is a great choice of single, and should hopefully give him another Top 20 hit.

Wow, what a shockingly awful decision!
'Did You Miss Me' is a glaringly obvious choice. |

Worst track on the album. Awful choice.

I'd say 'Seasons' and 'Wrapped Up' are the best indicators of what's on the album. You'd love 'Let Me In', the song Paul Weller co-wrote with him, it's gorgeous - dare I say the best slow number he's done since 'Dear Darlin'. |

I get the feeling 'Did You Miss Me' will be one of those songs that end up being a fan favourite and live favourite but never released as a single. RE: this. I love 'Did You Miss Me?' - I have a feeling that'll be the opening song on tour and it is such a funky beast of a track. Maybe as a 4th single in the summer potentially? But 'Seasons', for me anyway, feels like the much better choice for this single. It's such a different, quirky kind of sound for Olly and it's got that strong melody/topline Ryan Tedder has a knack for. |

I've kind of gone off since the album release, it'd be like my 7th choice ouf of the non-singles
Does he not realise Did You Miss Me is on the album? |

Official single artwork (apologies for the faint lines across it - Olly did that annoying thing of revealing it a square at a time on Instagram so a fellow fan I follow on Twitter had the tricky job of welding the squares together):

It's a decent choice for a third single (Syco have probably got some big single ready for 1D). "Did You Miss Me" is REALLY crying out for a release. Get him to go sexy in the video if he releases it

I have to say I find 'Did You Miss Me' a bit overrated. It works as opening track for the album but I don't rate it as a potential single.
I'm happy with the new single choice, it's one of the tracks that stuck out to me the most! |

I'm happy with the new single choice, it's one of the tracks that stuck out to me the most! This. It's not so much that I don't think it would be a good single, more that if came out this time of year it would have almost certainly done an 'Army of Two' - promoted to buggery whilst he was on tour and stalled outside the top 10 at 12 or whatever. It would make more sense as a summer release. 'Seasons' has been many critics' favourite on this album as well as the fans', so this is the right choice for sure. EP release date confirmed for 5th April - just as his tour gets under way so will be interesting to see how that pans out promotion wise. Mind you 'Army of Two' was released mid tour so...
He's on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway being pranked tomorrow night and on Top Gear on Sunday doing the 'Star in Reasonably Priced Car' circuit. The former I cannot WAIT for. |

I love 'Seasons' . Really infectious bridge and chorus. I've been playing it a lot over the last week or so and would love to see it do well. That's two excellent singles in a row after the underwhelming 'Wrapped Up'.

Wonderful choice as a single to follow up the beautiful Up, a third top 10 for this era would be wonderful too.
