Posted February 17, 20169 yr puWPJz4uQY0 Away from the music, touring and Instagram posing, Madonna also has time to frequent two exclusive, seedy shops :o The first of which is her sticky and sweet Candy Shop taken from her 11th studio album and specialising in all sorts of confectionery from hard gob-stoppers to soft, gooey, melt-in-your-mouth honey. Featuring production from Pharrell, you're sure to be filled up with the treats on offer and even be left with a sick feeling in your mouth after eating far too much of M's goodness. The second, taken from her most recent studio album is Body Shop which is all about repair and renewal services. If you're feeling battered or bruised after visiting the former shop, take a stop here and have your hood popped open by the Mistress. You can even keep it there overnight, in fact that's when the most productive work goes on as you can get a full looking over only when the lights are out~ Both songs were performed on the recent Rebel Heart Tour but which one blows your gasket / which flavor do you prefer? :'o zW5UlUiv3yo Vote for your favourite one in the poll and comment in the thread below! February 17, 20169 yr I prefer 'Body Shop', but it's not exactly a favourite of mine from Rebel Heart.
February 17, 20169 yr I prefer candy shop because of its live Reinventions. If I went on album versions I would have probably selected Body Shop. I particlulary like there part 'I would drive to the end of the earth for you ...'
February 18, 20169 yr Author I have voted 'Body Shop' but only only just. 'Candy Shop' probably is technically the better song but recently I have been enjoying BS a lot more and the tour really opened it up to me. It's harmless fun and very cheeky/less obviously VULGAR. I hated both when I first them though (and CS I hated for a while after too) but i've come round to them both and can enjoy them now ~ I thought 'Candy Shop' would STORM to victory here, and I know it's only early days but it's much closer than I thought :o
February 18, 20169 yr In a face off with Candy Shop the other song NO MATTER WHAT IT IS will always win.
February 18, 20169 yr Body Shop is definitely a cute bop and it was incredible on tour, but then so was Candy Shop (loving that it's already her 11th most performed song EVER) and it has the edge for me.
February 20, 20169 yr Author Candy Shop winning but ended up in the poll for her worst song . I think that's understandable! 'Candy Shop' has a lot of haters, but (again as the Worst Song process proved) it also has its admirers too. The people that like it are going to vote here but won't be able to do anything about the haters in the other series :P It's just a very divisive song ~
February 21, 20169 yr Author I haven't been able to turn 'Body Shop' off this past week lol, it's become a real gem off the album for me now. Tends to happen when a new song randomly grips me, but I never thought this one would when I first heard it
February 26, 20169 yr 'Candy Shop' has a more instantly catchy production to it which is, annoyingly, enough to make up for the cringy-ass lyrics, but the subtle production and barely there vocals of 'Body Shop' is strangely intriguing and the song works on you. Hard to say which I prefer tbh, neither are album highlights but sometimes they sound better than usual just completely out of nowhere. I'd say 'Candy Shop' was more consistent in my affections but 'Body Shop' has a higher high. I think I have to go for consistency.

I've had similar experiences with each song although I have gone through phases of disliking each. I had to vote 'Body Shop' though, because atm it's on a big high for me and I couldn't look past that ~
