Love both but Pink, I always underrate her output but I shouldn't, I think she's underrated as a whole up to the big pop females, she's so consistent quality wise and success wise actually but doesn't get the credit for it.

P!nk, because her music doesn't send me to sleep.

Pink's voice is too underrated. She can sing those big bratty f*** YOU anthems and then make you weep with her ballads.

Adele's an admittedly well-vocalled balladeer who, the odd stroke of excitement aside, makes fairly dull music for people who don't really like music, while P!nk's a talented singer who's been putting out consistently good pop-rock for the whole of the 21st century so far. No comparison in my eyes.

Also, Pink couldn't sing Adele song and Adele couldn't sing Pink songs so i really dont get the comparison.

Iz, thank you! This is EXACTLY how I feel about Adele's music, and I've never been able to put it into such good words before.

The only comparison is she happens to have released a few ballads, and Adele is known for ballads, that's not even a comparison really otherwise most singers are copying Adele :lol: Adele didn't create the ballad, she's the latest in a long line of ballad focused singers, she just happens to be a lot more talented than most artists today and she is very likeable and down to earth and that's really caught on and people love her. There are good points to both and they fill different niches, it's not like Adele fills a very exclusive niche Pink is eating into her album sales...

Of course I vote for pink

 

I don't under the comparison though, two completely different artists. Adele is amazing at what she does, although it's not music I would normally listen to, I still think she's incredibly talented.

 

In my opinion Pink can pretty much do it all, she can sing the ballads and captivate the audience with just her voice and an acoustic guitar and she can also fly around and spin upside down while singing live. She does the 'gimmicks' because she enjoys it, not because she has to.

 

I don't think Adele is trying to be like Pink, and I don't think Pink is trying to be like Adele. They're both doing their own thing which they're both really good at. It's like trying to compare steel panther to def leppard, both completely different rock artists.

Adele WISHES she could craft a ballad like Who Knew, Family Portrait, I Don't Believe You or Glitter In The Air.

Adele has interested me a bit more with her recent album, but P!nk's formidable discography cannot really be compared.

 

And yes, the comparison is useless but I thought we'd learned by now to disregard anything the person who came up with it says as utter rubbish.

P!nk may have the unforgivable criminal offence against the ears that is 'Just Give Me A Reason', but based on their whole discography she just edges it for me so gets my vote.

Pink by a mile. Adele is technically very good but she doesn't have range of songs Pink has. Pink shows off her attitude and also her vulnerable side and her albums can be pretty varied. She's also criminally overlooked quite often.

 

There essentially shouldn't be a comparison but apparently everything Pink does is copying Adele according the the forum's very own Screech so I guess this poll is necessary.

 

To pit them against each is pretty stupid especially since there's no official rivalry. After all, Pink was a huge influence for Adele.

 

Adele says that one of the most defining moments in her life was when she watched Pink perform at Brixton Academy in London. She states: "It was the Missundaztood record, so I was about 13 or 14. I had never heard, being in the room, someone sing like that live [...] I remember sort of feeling like I was in a wind tunnel, her voice just hitting me. It was incredible."

I couldnt vote - I prefer Pink's back catalogue of singles overall to Adele's, but Adele has the albums edge and is kinda a phenomenom, in the long run she's likely to be the more substantial of the two..
