Seen just two of these, oops. I liked the intertwining stories in Babel and thought that was really well handled by Iñárritu so he would be my winner for this year. The Queen is an OK movie but not very daringly directed so I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Stephen Frears being nominated this year, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't make my top five if I had seen more movies from this year...
