Glass Animals are finally back! A game has launched on their website confirming the new single is titled 'Tokyo Drifting', it out on Wednesday and features Denzel Curry.

It's great to have them back, the reason it's taken so long is that their drummer Joe was hit by a lorry last year and had to learn how to walk and play the drums again - it's amazing how quick his recovery has been.

Their song with Joey Bada$$ was great so really looking forward to hearing a Denzel Curry collab! Yikes at that story about their drummer tho.

Not feeling the new single, hope it’s not an indicator of what album #3 is going to sound like.

Really not a massive fan of this, I hope the rest of the upcoming album isn't in this direction.

Bit of a slow start but it warms up in the second half! Interesting to see they've followed a similar path to Lose Control by having hip-hop/trap influences along with their usual sounds. Good taster for the album but I'm hoping for some even better highlights from them!

This apparently isn't going to be on their album, it's just a loose single like 'Lose Control' (indicated by the 'FF' on the single cover apparently, though I'm not sure if that's a confirmed thing or just speculation). (edit: yeah apparently it was confirmed on Instagram that this isn't on the album)

I am really liking this on first listen anyway, a quirky banger ~ Their sound really meshes surprisingly well with hip-hop.

This song was used in YouTube Rewind 2019 *_* get that publicity (even if that's not exactly the best thing to be associated with x).

This has grown on me more and more, can see why it's divisive but I'm loving it, the chorus is stuck in my head all the time and Denzel's verse is brilliant (if very short).

Yeah this has grown on me properly now. As Bre said I love the unique indie/hip-hop sound they manage to create - makes for some exciting collabs! So random this is in YouTube Rewind - particularly as it's a new song, I may have to watch it then...

Love this - more like "Life Itself", which is my favourite song of theirs to date.

Disappointed 'Tokyo Drifting' is a non album single, probably my favourite single from them.

Pleasantly surprised! I didn't really like 'Tokyo Drifting', and it sadly never did grow on me - but this is much better.

I don't immediately love this quite as much as 'Tokyo Drifting' but this is still another great track from them, the most they've ever grabbed my attention with a non-collaboration. I did enjoy a few of their previous 'solo' tracks but never really found any of the ones I'd heard to be that memorable.
