It's a decent debut video and I like actually like the dancing. Poor Lee - looks like he's going to be the main vocal... until single 2... (7/10)

Beach videos aren’t my favourite generally and this is no exception. It is a nice introduction though. (5/10)

 

Last Thing on my Mind

Love the blue, the dancing and the overall feel. (7/10)

 

One For Sorrow

One of my favourite, love the summer countryside feel to it. (8/10)

 

Heartbeat

Least favourite of the album, just seems a little tacky. (3/10)

 

Tragedy

Iconic, from the wedding theme to the dance moves. (9/10)

 

Better Best Forgotten

Never released in Australia, so I had to record it on VHS when the UK chart show was on. Loved it when I was younger but not so much now, that probably clouds my score. (7/10)

Am I the only one who enjoys Heartbeat :lulu:?

The thing with Heartbeat was it was their first ballad. It wasn't want we wanted from them and the other track was so much better.

 

I think it set the example for ballads not being anywhere near as good as their uptempo songs.

 

And the video is pants as well.

Not the biggest fan of the song and I enjoy Tragedy wayyyy more. As a video I think Heartbeat is bad in a good kind of way :claire:

Heartbeat just isnt what i wanted from steps back then or now, tragedy is much better although initially tragedy took a while for it to grow on me.

5,6,7,8 – 5

Fun for what it is, the dance routine saves it… and open shirted Lee.

 

Last thing on my mind – 10

Love the retro vibe to it a really strong video… and Lee in trunks!!!

 

One for sorrow – 10

Perfect video for the song can’t fault it, again the dance routine in it works so well, love the summery colourful yet retro vibe to it (but not enough Lee)

 

Heartbeat – 10

Another really good visual video love the storyline… and Lee skiing!

 

Tragedy – 10

I mean it’s their best video, the wedding idea was inspired! Also Lee in his shorts at the beginning!!

 

Better best forgotten – 6

Quite cheap looking after a run of high quality videos… Lee saves it of course! I found the H and Lee double act amusing as a child.
