I might not like the song but I think the video is great, love the storyline behind it.

Again not massively keen on the song but visually its a nice video, the imagery is striking... the costumes not so much lol!

It's pretty but a little boring however the colour version made me fall in love with it. Would probably have been a 5 without the colour one boosting my affection for it.

Fun and colourful, I like the good and bad versions. A little boring after a few watches.

 

I have voted... defo that Deeper Shade of Blue was my fave of this era, and When I Said Goodbye was least fave.

This is the best era for videos. Lee looks at his best (of the hey day era) here and that doesn’t even include DSOB!

9 - Love's Got a Hold on My Heart - I loved this back in the day, and even more so since the HD remaster, with the upgraded colours! Really enjoy the scenes of them dancing on the pier, and the storyline going on with the stolen film reel.

 

7 - After the Love Has Gone - Visually striking, the oriental imagery suits the song.

 

8 - Say You'll Be Mine - It's just so much fun, with the band members acting out different films! Those films were all really modern back then (all from 1996-1998, bar Batman being from 1992). There's Something About Mary was from 1998, so only a year old when used in this music video, but people still remember that scene - so the video holds up well. The gold outfits... well, it's Steps!

 

10 - Deeper Shade of Blue - In my world it's iconic. Those blue outfits are soooo tacky, but they just make sense in this video. And honestly a video where Lee serves what he serves was never going to be less than a 10 x

 

6 - When I Said Goodbye - It's beautifully shot, stunning scenery, the band look gorgeous but it's still a bit on the boring side. :kink: But for the kind of video they set out to do, they did a great job.

 

8 - Summer of Love - Love how full on this video is with so many dancers and "good vs. bad Steps" - very colourful too! The energy of the video really suits the song.
