The lyrics in 'Oopsy Daisy' are absolutely amazing, he's a complete lyrical genius. 'You've seen me go from a boy to a man, so this must really be the end of the road', fantastic line, great lyrical reference. It's really changed my opinion of him..

I was speaking about music today with someone at work and I mentioned the song and they said something like "I bet it's awfully childish, who the hell names a song with that title". And it made me think back to when I first heard the song title (before I heard the song) and I thought the same. It is a masterpiece though and I hope it gets to number one.

Sorry, but rap is not maiinstream. Its target audience is minorities & rebellious teenagers - if it were mainstream, then R2 would be playing it, for example.

between them Dizee and Tinchy have had 5 #1's between them in the space of just over a year, I think it's safely mainstream now and appeals to a lot more than just 'minorities and rebellious teenagers'...I'm neither of these and I enjoy it

 

watch festival footage of Dizzee performing Bonkers and the crossover appeal is obvious, there's barely a chav in the crowd yet ever person there knows the words and enjoys it

I must admit, the name of the artist is a joke! :rolleyes: (and the song) BUT I preffer the song to anything Dizzee R is releasing, his style is way more 'Garage' (Craig Davidesque) then rap - talking about how life is tough on the street and so on... <_< . It is a SONG at the end of the day and that is a good thing. Will be No.1, but wish it was brought forward, because I dread what may slip through next week :puke2: (Im happy for Taio Cruz for 3 weeks please)

 

PS: THATS IT!! it reminds me of somthing Blazin Squad would have done..(not a good thing) obviously their version would have been bad!
