September 17, 200916 yr I really thought Celebration would easily be #1, surprised to see it stalling at #3. Join the club!
September 17, 200916 yr Author I really thought Celebration would easily be #1, surprised to see it stalling at #3. Its not really surprising when its been out for a month. If record companies release the physical as soon as the download is available, tracks would stand a better chance at #1. To be honest I never expected Taio Cruz to be #1 this week so quick, it goes to show record companies need to pull their fingers out. [/rant]
September 17, 200916 yr Oh and just to point out, that new madonna video with the fans is worse than the other and thats saying something. Where is the radio edit version video!!

It IS a combined digital/physical release.

September 17, 200916 yr Paramore very close to the top 10 :cheer: Taylor Swift is making the top 40. Seems to keep moving up the Itunes chart, so I think she should climb even more before Sunday  EDIT: And I'm also very glad Madonna isn't going to be number 1, like people thought she would be. To be honest, I'm not that big a fan of "Celebration" Edited September 17, 200916 yr by bigzarafan
September 17, 200916 yr Oh and just to point out, that new madonna video with the fans is worse than the other and thats saying something. Where is the radio edit version video!! I think what the other poster meant was: that the record companies have to move on from this incredibly dated model of releasing a song to Radio about a month before its on sale...then spend that month hoping noone downloads it illegally, or loses interest in the song. I see no reason in this day and age why a song can't have its first play on the radio one week, have its video released and be on download the next. Instead of this ridiculous 'here's a song we all want you to hear and love, but please don't go download it for free, wait a month for us to be bothered to put it on sale' system.
