O hopefully they are on Scott Mills.

If that story is true I would love Amelle to duet with JT but he said that he won't make music for himself for a while which puts more doubt into it.

Spent my lunch investigating the whole Jade/Sugababes mess. As Popjustice doesn't seem to want to do a story on what went down...

So Jade was really unhappy with her management and how her project was being handled so she started seeing other management groups a while ago. One of them happened to be Crown Management who do the Sugababes. Crown were unhappy with Keisha and wanted to kick her out the group but didn't have any idea about a replacement. That's when they suddenly realised they could sign Jade (who was now without management) and bring her to the Sugababes.

Jade didn't tell anyone at Geffen and switched her phone off for a week with no way for them to contact her whilst this was going down. They only found out on Saturday night officially that Jade was in the babes.

The legal side is a bit boring. Jade had her contract with Geffen. Sugababes with Island. Both under Universal. So if Crown went to Island and said they wanted to poach Jade from Geffen, they weighed up the odds - Jade flopping on her own - Jade making the 'new' sexier Sugababes they had wanted and they allowed it.

Ooh I'm really excited for this now, by the sounds of it Keisha deserved to go but not gonna say anything until something 100% true comes out, if it ever will.

Very interesting. This has been coming for a while then.

So now I really do wonder if they were cruel enough not to tell Keisha until last minute or if she really knew what was going on.

^^ Cheryl's face is describing the situation perfectly IMO.

LOL I just literally lol'ed

I don't really care about the rumours and what happened or whatever anymore, we are never going to know the full true story..

So management pushed rather than a fight and K's 'plan' back firing. That i find 100000000000000000000000000x more believable. I could see Management sacking her

woop cheers!

Did Jade know she was going to replace Keisha then, without Keisha knowing? Or did management just get her to re-record the songs or whatever and not let her know who she was going to be replacing?

That seems possible. Some doubt over the claim Greffen couldn't contact Jade, she has been quite public recently, on radio stations etc promoting her single.

And now the Daily Star's latest story

Sugababes star Heidi Range broke down in tears when she heard that Amelle Berrabah wanted to quit the band, according to a report.

Last week, it was rumoured that Berrabah would leave the group following disputes with her bandmate Keisha Buchanan.

However, on Monday it was confirmed that Buchanan had split from her fellow singers and Berrabah would stay. Keisha later admitted that it wasn't her choice to leave.

A source told the Daily Star: "It was actually Amelle who resigned from the band first as she felt she couldn't work with Keisha anymore. When Heidi heard the news she sobbed into Amelle's arms."

Reports have claimed that Range teamed up with Berrabah to force Buchanan out of the group.

The insider added: "It was obvious the only way to keep Sugababes going was for Keisha to go. It was very emotional when the three girls heard the news and there were plenty of tears."

Eurovision star Jade Ewen has already been unveiled as Buchanan's replacement.

I think that stories true just very over-dramatised, its practically what Heidi said.

That same source on PJ just added:

She just quit from Geffen and the tops at Universal allowed it because she would make them more money through Island.

Seems logical enough - they could clearly see it was more benifical to keep the SugaBrand alive over her solo career.

Yeah, totally. It makes more economic sense. My Man is flopping on it's ass, the album prospects weren't looking amazing.

The brand Sugababes is huge, and AAG is gonna be big. Keepin the babes going for at least Sweet7 makes sense coz based on what we;ve heard the album was set to be a corker and would sell pretty well too.
