Aww bless her, I actually do hope they do something together :D

It would be nice although I wouldn't want the original line-up to reform since I was never fond of Siobhan...

Mutya has really grown on me. She's actually quite a sweet girl.

Siobhan would never work with Keisha again..it would be nice if the three of them could do like a charity single or something though.
I can easily see Keisha & Mutya get together to make some superior Booty Luv style music in the future.

 I love Mutya

A duet with her and Keisha has to happen. I would kill to see them perform together live.

And, they could do all the good old stuff as a duo as well like Ugly [which lets be honest, you barely notice Heidiho on apart from the shrill middle8] and their other amazing track. *day dreams*

I want to hear a solo album from K and Mut's 2nd solo effort. I am dying to hear the full version of Heat. But it would be epic if they got together for a one off gig to celebrate 10years since Overload was released or even formed a duo in a couple of years.

Shes obviously desperate for some exposure or something saying it would be an amazing idea

Mutya to reform original Sugababes?

Mutya Buena has said she would love to reform the original Sugababes line-up with Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy.

Mutya Buena has said she would love to reform the original Sugababes line-up with Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy.

The singer talked to GMTV's Lorraine Kelly about Keisha's replacement in the group by Jade Ewan, saying she thought the new line-up - now consisting entirely of substitutes - are not really the Sugababes anymore.

"Personally, I just don't think the Sugababes is the Sugababes anymore," she said.

She went on: "I mean, it would be different if Keisha had stayed in it and someone else had gone - then it would be the Sugababes. But wow, I suppose now there's no original Sugababes we should just all reform again."

Mutya, who has forged a solo career since leaving the band, said she was disappointed at Keisha's claims she was forced from the band.

She said: "I'm actually quite disappointed. Obviously the brand name of Sugababes will always carry on. But to say like there's no original in the Sugababes, it just kind of puts it down a bit."

Speaking about reforming with Siobhan and Keisha, Mutya said: "Well you know, we're all grown up. I haven't been with the Sugababes for so long, and you know, I've had my years of growing up and learning about what I want in life and getting to look after my daughter. So hooking up with the rest of the girls - I think that could be an amazing idea, definitely."

Mutya Buena has claimed that she would be interested in reuniting with the original members of Sugababes.

Buena said that it would be "amazing" to reteam with her old bandmates Siobhán Donaghy and Keisha Buchanan in the future.

"Well you know, we're all grown up. I haven't been with the Sugababes for so long, and you know, I've had my years of growing up and learning about what I want in life and getting to look after my daughter," she told GMTV.

"So hooking up with the rest of the girls - I think that could be an amazing idea, definitely."

Buchanan, who was the only original member of the girl group, confirmed that she had split from the band earlier this week. She has been replaced by British Eurovision star Jade Ewen.

Commenting on the new lineup, Buena said: "Personally, I just don't think the Sugababes is the Sugababes anymore. I mean, it would be different if Keisha had stayed in it and someone else had gone - then it would be the Sugababes. But wow, I suppose now there's no original Sugababes we should just all reform again."

Buena left Sugababes four years ago, while Donaghy quit in 2001. They were replaced by Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range respectively.

:o!

I hope not. The only good that came from when these three were together, were 'Overload' and 'Run For Cover' everything else, was awful! :(
I think it'll just be Keisha and Mutya, tbh.

One Touch was a fabulous album, one of their most innovative and diverse ones too

There's already a topic that discusses this. But anyway, here's the short interview:

indeed there is, forgot bout that, i'll merge :magic:

The thought of the three original members together making music, and them NOT being the Sugababes, is so weird
I think keisha will want a solo career rather than work with mutya.. siobhan will never do it.. i think she'd rather die? LOL But i'd love to see keisha and mutya make an album together, but i can't imagine them having the same outlook on what kinda music theyd want to make... Mutya only wants to work with them again coz she flopped...

NOt that it will happen but if mutya keisha and siobhan did reform could they make a challenge for the sugababes name or is it like a brand name the record company own. It would alos be very weird should it happen and both groups release material at the same time, still, i would be gobsmacked if siobhan(who is my fave of all the sugababes) worked with keisha again as i genuinly think keisha came within an inch of totally destroying that girls life and i dont think siobhan would even risk going down that road again.

Yeah, I don't think Siobhan would ever work with Keisha again either, which is a shame. I genuinely think they could be successful if they reformed. I loved that line-up, even if they were All Saints clones at times.

Perhaps Keisha and Mutya could recruit a former band rival from Atomic Kitten (Liz/Jenny ) and recreate the second line up.
