I think they have made the right decision with Alejandro for the next single. It's easily more likable than many other songs on the album, it's catchy but not annoying and it's not in your face, but memorable. I do think (for the UK & Ireland, North America, Oceania and some of Europe that the singles should go:)

But I think for Asia, South America and the rest of Europe should get 'Monster' as the 4th single instead of 'Dance In The Dark'

Im delighted its the next single as i love it, it shoudl be a hyge hit and hopefully a 5th UK number 1 for her.

She confirmed in an Australian radio interview she's shooting the Alejandro video soon and it's not a continuation of Telephone.

Lady GaGa has reportedly chosen a director for her next video.

 

GaGa, who premiered the video for her current single 'Telephone' less than two weeks ago, is rumoured to already be planning her next video.

 

According to Styleite, the 23-year-old's video for up-coming single 'Alejandro' will be directed by fashion photographer Steven Klein.

 

Klein, who is best known for his advertising campaigns with Calvin Klein, D&G and Alexander McQueen, has also photographed Madonna and Britney Spears.

 

GaGa is currently holding the UK chart double, scoring number ones on the album and singles chart.

IMO she should've finished off this era with Telephone. Then take some rest.

Not if it's true that she's going to release her second LP at the end of the year. And she's on tour until September. GaGa is literally working herself to death, I just hope she doesn't burn out, or creatively drys up.

Brrrr, I hate DITD. It's the only song from TFM that I would leave off. I don't get why it's a fan favorite. It starts really promising with a great beat, but it's boring and repetive.

Monster and So Happy I Could Die entered the Hungarian singles chart too 1 week earlier (2009/48) at #6 and #10.

Better be as brilliant as Telephone!!! The song is!

"Telephone" needed the video because the song isn't as great as GaGa normally is (in my personal chart, it got to #4 when it leaked, and #1 when the video came out), but "Alejandro" is amazing on it's own (already having two weeks at #1 in my personal chart). Still expecting a great video though, just not as good as the one for "Telephone"

I love this song, so fingers crossed it'll be her fifth UK number one. She deserves it with a song such as 'Alejandro', and the video should be a corker.

I hope GaGa keeps up this trend of her first 2 singles off an album going to Number One in the UK, I'm loving it! I just wish she'd get to the top once again in the US =(

 

I don't think this will claim the top spot though, Top 5 is a lock. Is there much competition out at the moment? And I envision the video being set on the beach, in a luxurious mansion, with GaGa having fun with all three men in the song, before they all confront her at once and she falls of the balcony into a sea of naked men...never truly escaping her 'fear of love'. Poetic?
