I think The Saturdays might surprise people.

It's only just out in Ireland tonight and already #12

I wonder if iTunes have actually noticed about 'Remedy' not being available...

A Couple of Singles on Pre-Order in the iTunes Album chart:

Alexandra Burke 'Bad Boys' #10

JLS 'Everybody In Love' #17

Chipmunk 'Oopsy Daisy' #32

Robbie Williams 'Bodies' #77

Young Soul Rebels 'I Got Soul' #80

The Saturdays 'Forever Is Over' #125

Lost Prophets 'It's Not the End of the World' #131

The Sats will have a maximum possible attainable peak of #2, as Chipmunk is obviously #1 next week

Right... his first two singles peaked at #21 & #6, so the song that was only his third choice for release, is a certain #1??

perhaps he hadn't yet written this song at the time of releasing those two singles, and yes it is 100 times better than those two combined

there's no point denying it's an absolute guaranteed UK #1, I am 99.99999999% certain that it will be

Amazing for Alexandra :w00t:

So if Jaylicia are that far ahead of 'Sexy Bitch' (they still have some distance when all Sexy Bitch/chick''s are combined) why are they STILL only number 3 in the mids? :( Is iTunes losing it's lead over current download sites? Are they becoming more popular than we think?

And Vidcapper, you only have to request 'Oopsy Daisy' on a night out to see just how popular it is! EVERYONE seems to know the lyrics word for word (well they do here in Notts :heehee:) Also some tour footage on youtube from when he was promoting 'Catch 22' with Tinchy, you'll be able to see just how strong a reaction this song gets. I don't think I've seen so many positive things said about a song. Even 'Just Dance' and 'I Kissed a Girl' had it's haters... If it ain't number 1 next Sunday, I for one will be incredibly shocked.

Yeah ITunes has definitley lost some of it's dominance.

People are finally waking up and realsing that they can buy music cheaper and without restrictions elsewhere.

You have to understand that this is also the single that the album is being released off the back of, that's always the most important one.

'Empire State of Mind' is now number 1 :yahoo:

'Sweet Disposition' number 5

I think 'Remedy' has been removed altogether now...

erm what restrictions?

I think you're a bit behind. iTunes has no restrictions on the songs for months. Every song is DRM free since March or April.

'Oopsy Daisy' is EVERYWHERE. And this was before I moved to uni 2 weeks ago or so. On all the music channels every other song or so, blasted out of phones and i-pods by chavs. It's also pretty damn good considering I hate the creature with a passion. It is also a lot more mainstream sounding than his other songs, along the lines of Tinchy Stryder & Amelle's song I think.

I want Cobra Starship to be readded :kink:

Oh that's good.

I don't know anyone who uses ITunes anymore so I missed that news.
