When Lady G is on form, her live vocals are fantastic.

Right... Ashley Cole married her for her 'vocals'... :w00t: :P

Ashely didnt marry Lady G ;) :P

I'm more interested in next week now to see if Alex's 2nd weeks will compete with Cherl.

Same here, I think Alex's sales on Tues update will set it up, I be amazed if its 100k plus  I doubt it though that will certainly put Cheryl out of contention next week.

Does anyone remember how much Leona did for Tues mids with Bleeding Love

Just read the thread from Friday-Sunday and some people on here are seriously deluded - there's no way ON EARTH Robbie is going to overtake Alexandra at any point in the next fortnight! He'll probably be behind her for the rest of the year in fact.

He'll get closer but that's only because of the way that iTunes works and the % differences between the sales.

Also, I think Alexandra's 2nd week shouldn't actually be as big a drop as some others we've seen this year (e.g. Dizzee Rascal) - since the album is out next week and the album version will chart fairly high.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Alex's physical singles also topple Robbie's - I'd say it was about 50:50 in that department right now, and even then it probably still swings to Alex - anyone remember Leona's BL physical sales? ;) In any case, physical sales will have no impact on chart placings this week - Alex defo #1, Robbie defo #2.

66k.

But that was when Tuesday mids - Sunday sales had a multiplication factor of between 3 and 3.5.

Now that factor is more skewed towards the start of the week, with a factor of around 2-2.5 for Tuesday mids - Sunday sales. So for Alex to get around Leona's 219k for the week for BL, she probably needs to do around 95-105k in the Tuesday mids.

Alexandra isn't "slipping"...

Well she doesnt look as far ahead of robbie as the last update to me

This is why I think Cheryl has got no chance at the #1 next week with Alex's album out, its the cherry picking season :D and it be sod's law she does the same with Cheryl's album the week after, denying Cheryl a #1 album. To be honest I never expected a #1 album for Cheryl, I'm not having a go at Cheryl fans here, I'm just thinking sales wise, Alex's album is her debut album, so the fanbase will probably buy Cheryl's album.

I actually think Cheryl can shift more than JLS did with BA, so I'm not ruling her out yet (at least until we know Alex's Tuesday mid sales - things should become clearer then).

So will we find out the midweek sales tomorrow?

I think she has a real good chance of gettin a #1 album. With the single, she already has it in the bag.

Well if you combine his entry at 17 as well - the gap isn't so big :P

I was, he's still like at about 37-38% of Alex's total, like this morning! ^_^

Does anyone know the pre-order chart on I-Tunes for the album?
