October 4, 200915 yr looking forward to seeing the tracklist for the 00's one...the 90's one is all a bit predictable
October 4, 200915 yr I love how each decade obsesses over the decade a couple of years before  This decade has been mostly 80's inspired stuff and compilations, 2010- 2019 will be 90's  (My fave decade for music)
October 4, 200915 yr maybe...although the 80's does generally seem to be much more highly regarded than the 90's 90's compilations never tend to sell very well whereas 80's ones still sell in huge amounts! I don't reckon many 00's compilations will fly off the shelves unless they get the tracklisting just right...it's a shame that most of the biggest sellers of the decade are reality winners songs, although I'd hardly call Evergreen and Unchained Melody the 'sounds of the decade', more like 'Sex On Fire', 'Crazy In Love', 'Mr Brightside', 'Don't Stop Movin', 'Umbrella', 'Bleeding Love' etc...
October 9, 200915 yr I see no... Vengaboys? 2 Boyzone tracks? That's one too much. :P Enigma - Sadness in the tracklisting. Edited October 9, 200915 yr by FM11
October 9, 200915 yr Author In all honesty, that tracklisting sucks, no Whitney, MJ and went for the obvious tracks like "Wannabe" and "Baby One More Time" - So disappointing
October 9, 200915 yr I don't know much about the 90s stuff, but I can never say it sucks. I'm just a bit disppointed to see no Vengaboys track even just 'Boom Boom Boom Boom'.
October 10, 200915 yr Mi Chico Latino!?! surely there were 1000 more suitable choices than that :puke:
October 10, 200915 yr In all honesty, that tracklisting sucks, no Whitney, MJ and went for the obvious tracks like "Wannabe" and "Baby One More Time" - So disappointing NOW don't have the rights to MJ or Madonna songs. More to do with the record label they're on i think.
October 10, 200915 yr I don't know much about the 90s stuff, but I can never say it sucks. I'm just a bit disppointed to see no Vengaboys track even just 'Boom Boom Boom Boom'. That track has probably been on like a dozen or so 90s comps already though.
October 10, 200915 yr NOW don't have the rights to MJ or Madonna songs. More to do with the record label they're on i think. Madonna = Warner, they don't have rights (?) for the songs on that label to be in the NOW CDs. So that makes sense. MJ = Epic, so... hmm... not sure about that tbh. October 10, 200915 yr Author NOW don't have the rights to MJ or Madonna songs. More to do with the record label they're on i think. NOW Music do get rights to certain Warner Brother music (Flo Rida, Cher & Little Boots), but for some strange reason Paramore, Green Day and Madonna seem to be off limits to the UK editions of NOW CD'S - Although Madge has appeared on Australian editions of NOW CD's but that's because it's owned by EMI and Warner Music... It's a little complicated  Madonna = Warner, they don't have rights (?) for the songs on that label to be in the NOW CDs. So that makes sense. MJ = Epic, so... hmm... not sure about that tbh. Anastacia, Jennifer Lopez and The Fray all belong to EPIC records and have appeared on more recent nows. And "Thriller" did make NOW 25 Years which is just silly.. Maybe if EMI/Virgin/Universal came to an agreement to include Sony BMG & WMG there'd be a lot more variety on this spin off album. And I don't mind "Mi Chico Latino" in fact it's one of my favorite 90's anthems
October 11, 200915 yr I love how for the 90s compilation they only chose #1 hits and nothing else. It's a shame, there's a wide spectrum of 90s classics that didn't quite manage #1, that makes it sucky...
October 11, 200915 yr Most of the trackling is decent to good, although some of those songs are kind of $h!tty to me... but lol it's not like I'd personally purchase that anyways.
