at least amongst the haters there were some people that loved it as much as I did

Yeah  and it's still growing! I really hope it's a hit when it's released :(

and Phil: Top 20 indeed! Anything less and it'd be against the law!

are you expecting it to be released? Vinegar will flop hard and Music Everywhere won't get a chance :(

TBH, I'm getting a feeling they're gonna end up making 'Vinegar' a "buzz single" :heehee: I think like I said in the thread, they should wait until March time 2010 to release it here, and it, well hopefully would have done a 'Release Me' and become a shock hit.

is she really the sort of artist that would warrant a buzz single? :heehee:

I would love it to come out here, but would Radio 1 really play it? without them it would get nowhere

20: Torchwood: Nicole Statements 'Taller' (BJSC 18 - 11th) 7pts

Next up is Torchwood's second best entry ever! 'Taller' was a complete surprise, and a very pleasing surprise too! I did think it'd be the dark horse of the contest, but finishing 11th, still a good result but I thought it'd completely shock and go Top 5 :(. This may aswell be Hendinia's second entry of the contest. I don't think anyone loves it more than Rob LOL.

19: Kopecka: Erik Hassle 'Hurtful' (BJSC 15 - 4th) 8pts

Next up is one of the most stunning entries ever to be entered! Absoloutely gorgeous song. Deserved to be the first male winner, although that's never gonna happen here on Buzzjack :heehee:

18: JRK-Off: Alexa Soulshock 'Push & Pull' (BJSC 19 - 13th) 8pts

Next up we have JRK-Off's best ever entry imo. I was pleasently surprised by it's success in BJSC, however had it been by a female we already knew and loved, I think it would have had a good chance of winning. But what's done is done. Hopefully people are voting for this beauty in the Best Of nominations, and not going to not vote for it just coz "they can't remember". That's what youtube is for people! :drama:

17: Lievant: Elin Lanto 'I Won't Cry' (BJSC 17 - 17th) 5pts

Now we have Elin's second entry in the countdown. This time with country Lievant. Quite a difference in tempo's of songs I think you'll agree :heehee: I don't think anyone will understand just how much this song grew on me after I voted! It's brilliant. I made it my dark horse, but it flopped LOL :( Ballads rarely do well anyway but this time I thought it'd be different :(

16: Kopecka: Kaci Battaglia 'Crazy Possessive' (BJSC 17 - 4th) 6pts

Another Kopeckan entry up next, and it's time for a nice slice of female electro-pop! 'Crazy Possessive' is brilliant and very much deserved it's 4th place in that contest. Although it's quite low on my discovery chart, I do adore this quite alot, so it just proves how much I love everything from now on. Also keep an eye out for another Kopeckan entry inside the Top 20, to come soon :kink:

I do LOVE to see some Nicole luff. My favourite entry of mine by a while

15: Kingdom of Shadow: Rosanna 'Gameboy' (BJSC 18 - 6th) 12pts

Well I was in two minds as to whether to add this in this countdown or not as I discovered it on popjustice, back when Kopecka wanted to send her the very, very first time :drama: but popjustice only had a clip. It wasn't until Tom sent it to this contest, had I heard it in it's full glory and I was NOT disappointed

14: Zechonia: Stanfour feat. Jill 'In Your Arms' (BJSC 20 - 5th) 12pts

Another song that is still growing on me. Whenever I play this song, it can't be played just the once. It HAS to be on repeat for a few listens. Stunningly beautiful song, that I predicted to be the dark horse of 20, and was I right? Yep! :D! (Bout time too :heehee:) But yeah, I much prefer the version with Jill as opposed to without... but both versions are amazing!

13: FSR Rontvia:[/b] Maria Haukaas Sotreng & Mira Craig 'Mine All Mine' (BJSC 7 - 3rd) 4pts

Now it's time for a Rontvian entry I think and what a better entry than this 60's influenced, soul track from the girl with big boobies and the girl with a voice that should be kept shut when she's attempting to sing... although on this track she really isn't that bad. It was a discovery from my very first contest and I'm pleased I joined when I did! :D

12: Kopecka: Priscilla Renea 'Dollhouse' (BJSC 19 - 3rd) 7pts

Time for another Kopeckan entry and this, imo, is their finest entry to date! It's instant, catchy, electro-pop, female which means it was basically made for BJSC! LOL. It's gonna be hard for Kopecka to top this one for me, but I'm sure they'll find something :o

11: FSR Rontvia: Pixie Lott 'Boys & Girls' (BJSC 11 - 3rd) 8pts

Well, I have included this song as it is the demo version being used in the contest, not the studio version. The demo version is just as good as the "new" version, although the newest one is slightly better imo. It introduced me to this brilliant artist who I am now a big fan of. If only Rontvia had entered 'Turn It Up' (Then known as 'The Fall') they may have had an entry inside my Top 10 discoveries :( Ah well. 'Battlefield', 'I'm Yours' and 'Spotlight' it is for you then Rich :P

that's ok Jonjo, I've had so many entries in here that I can't complain  surprised to see Mine All Mine in the top 20 actually, never realised you liked it quite that much :o

Pixie was just a complete random MySpace find...I still can't believe she's been one of the stars of 2009 :o

Ooh i got what's wrong. I like the demo of Boys & Girls but dislike the studio version :o

Top 15.

I prefer the version with Jill as well.

She won the possibility to do the song with them during one episode of a german casting show, btw. :D

10: Nonsuch: Lisa Miskovsky 'Still Alive' (BJSC 12 - 19th) 10pts

Next up we have the country who is currently 3rd in my voting history! Nonsuch and the stunning pop song 'Still alive' by Lisa Miskovsky. This was the theme to the popular video game on PS3 'Mirror's Edge'. Sensational piece of music. Deserved to do far better than 19th?! This track is officially UNDERRATED -_-

Does she have a record deal? Because her voice is gorgeous!

09: Rivandia: M83 'Car! Chase! Terror!' (BJSC 14 - 20th) 8pts

Next up we have an entry by Rivandia who has introduced me to this gem! I was completely taken back with surprise by this track. I'd never heard anything like it before! The music is beautiful and this entry is very, very underrated.

Does she have a record deal? Because her voice is gorgeous!

I don't think so.

She undeservedly had to leave the show 4 or 5 episodes before the end (there is only a jury that decides who goes on and who doesn't, no televoting) and she was never heard of again (at least by me). :/

Loving your postions 10 and 9. How could "Still Alive" only come 10th? :o

And Rivandia would most likely have been in the top 3 of countries who received points from me if I had participated earlier. A lot of amaziong entries.

08: United States of Jack: Solange 'Sandcastle Disco' (BJSC 7 - 8th) 0pts

Really weird this. At the time of the contest, I remember I was not a big fan of this (for some reason ) but it didn't grow until after. Now, when I try and think why I didn't like it so much, I can't think of anything! It's almost perfect pop! Also it's included as it bombed in the charts and I wouldn't have been able to have heard it without this contest otherwise :)
