I expect that's it for Rontvia, I'm glad you've started to like (some of) my entries now :heehee: always great to see love for I'm Going For Your Brother, possibly my oddest top ten hit in the fact that it appealed to all of the people that usually hate my entries and didn't appeal much to those who usually like them :lol:

100% agree about the Ashton comment, it makes me sick to see some of these great pop finds sink into a low top 20 position whilst the latest UK 'about to smash' songs clog up the top 5 :snif:

we all feel this way about our songs or we wouldn't be sending them in the first place, nobody wants to DNQ, some songs just don't catch on to the dominating pop crowd in a huge way

Dragonette's song wasn't exactly instant (for me at least, although it hugely grew on me enough to give it 6 points in the semi), most people probably only listen once or twice in the semis...Tiesto/SSS was just another classic case of being in the wrong semi, most of the people that loved it were in the opposite one :(

For my flops, I can understand Mira DNQ'ing because of all of the hate (although a lot of other hated songs scrape through the semi and then fly in the final) but Miss Blue was a decent pop song, great bassline and catchy melody, so I was quite sad at that one :( but it must be far worse for those people who keep sending their favourite songs and have 7, 8 or 9 DNQ's to their name.

It took me a while to really get this song but on maybe the third listen it totally hit me how great this track was. Stupidly I didn't look into Marina further until I heard Robot!
