Hope Miss Frank won't be going next week then :o :(

No I think they're better than bat for lashes and Girlband so they should see a few more weeks at least :)

A spoiler on DS suggested that they were third from bottm in the voting  at least it wasn't two groups in the bottom 2, I'm a bit sad KR went, they were decent enough, I wasn't shocked at the bottom 2 at all, in fact they were the two I predicted :P

next weeks song?

So one act from each category will be performing a Whitney song I guess?

Poor Lucie! She's gonna be slumped with the Whitney song :( - Although if she can do 'I Will Always Love You' again, I'll have hope for her.

Stacey, I'd like to see her do an uptempo song or something like Cyndi Lauper 'True Colours', coz although she has a different tone to Cyndi, I think she could do a very nice version of it!

So Diva week next week with 4 female acts left to 7 male acts?! Interesting.

I kinda hope someone gets "Bleeding Love" to give it that extra boost towards the 1 million mark, a male could do it in the style of Jesse McCartney since it wouldn't suit any of the females left. Totally in dream mode now, but I'd love to see Rachel doing something like "Come As You Are" by Beverley Knight.

As for tonight, gutted to see Rachel in the bottom two, at least the right of the two went.

Alexandra was great, I'm not sure she mimed though. There was definitely a backing track, but the rest sounded too live if you know what I mean. Towards the end she was sort of half singing the chorus, if it was pre-recorded 'live' vocals wouldn't they have just recorded her singing the whole chorus? I dunno it just seemed live to me.

Robbie was mental, not in a good way. He actually reminded me of Stacey Slater in recent Eastenders scenes. He's very much a crowd pleaser, but seemed like he could crack at any given second.

I kinda hope someone gets "Bleeding Love"

think after the travesty of 'FITS' - AND i do love Lucie, she just didn't do it any justice - no one will touch 'BL'

It was like watching a kid in a sweet shop

True, but if they did it like the version below they wouldn't necessarily be trying to do justice to Leona.

A think a man could give it a good stab, they're less likely to get Leona comparisons anyway.

Dunno about could crack I think he was ON crack :o :o looked totally stoned

That too. His eyes were looking quite scary.

Yeah the right act probably went. They weren't that bad imo, but they're definitely not the sort of group that the X factor voters are going to go for. I wanted them to go through because I thought Rachel's original performance was near enough awful and I think the blonde girl in Kandy Rain is phittttt. But Rachel's performance of Nobody's Home was good whilst the arrangement of Fighter was a bit messed up imo.

No shocks really in the final two, although that Rikki guy is f***ing terrible. Honestly can't belive Cheryl voted him in the final 3 as he's sososososo bad.

Hate the Jesse version. Its Diva week so they will be compared to Leona. The average person wont know anything about the "other" version.

Not bad sing-off performances at all.

Rachel's upset actually seemed to help her pull off Nobody Knows, quite a clever song choice for that scenario really.

Kandy Rain weren't totally abysmal - well at least the two lead girls weren't - they weren't the worst this weekend at all (hello Lloyd/J&E).

Alexandra really does look and sound like the pop star now, although not mad on Bad Boys. Blobby would have been better miming - his vocal deficiencies were all too plain to hear. Group performance was precictably embarrassing - it was pretty much made just for J&E to get to jump about a bit.

Anyone who tells me this was not at LEAST half mimed is very much deluded.

She effs it up twice.

First is just after Flo has finished his rap at 02:48 she kinda "Woo's" and the mic does not pick up a noise.

Second is a MAJOR flop at 03:27, she flat out stops miming and the vocal track carries on..

It cannot be denied, it's too similar to be backing vocals. She mimed it.

You'll also notice that a good 20/30 seconds after she's finished, she's still nackered, catching her breath so she can hardly talk.

So how can she have carried off a perfect vocal while dancing?

I'm not bashing Alex, I think she's great. But Britney got slaughtered for miming and when people used the defense she was dancing, the answer was "many others do it"

So why didn't Alex?

Edited by Scherz

Agreed Scherz, it was 100% recorded live vocals and she messed up several times like you mentioned.

AT 2:48 THE MIC WAS NOWHERE NEAR THE VOCALS! LOL

AT 3.27 YES SHE STOPS SINGING BUT THE BACKIN TRACK WAS CARRYIN ON.

100% LIVE! YES THERE WAS A BACKING TRACK BUT THAT WAS HER ORIGINAL RECORD NOT PRE-RECORDED VOCALS!

IF SHE WAS MIMING TO THE PRE-RECORDED TRACK, HER VOICE WOULD HAVE TO SOUND A LOT MORE PERFECT THAN THAT.

IN THE 1ST PART SHE WAS ACTUALLY OUT OF TUNE AND YOU CAN HER BREATHING THROUGOUT THE PERFORMANCE!

Lmao @ Alexandra being compared to a Britney live performance.

Let's not go there folks.

Really pleased Rachel stayed, fantastic performance of 'Nobody Knows'. I think she'll be this years Ruth and give amazing bottom two performances and go Top 5 or so. She should deffo be safe next week at least.

A shame that the boring predictable public voted for Lloyd, Rikki & John and Edward over acts with potential and talent. -_- And the Alexandra performance was immense I thought. Just wait for Cheryl's next week ...

I didn't compare their performances, I compared the situations.

If people are still blind after you see her stop singing, but a lead vocal carries on..

Well that's your problem. You can all be conned.

It's a backing track. You can tell that. She's singing over the top of the backing track!
