October 13, 200916 yr There's no way on earth Cheryl isn't going to be #1 with this next week, it's seriously huge right now... I agree and IMO think FFTL is better than BB. Don't know if she can make number one as Girls Aloud haven't had a number 1 selling 100k first week sales since when? Edited October 13, 200916 yr by Andy.
October 13, 200916 yr LOL @ Leona's fans worrying about Alex topping her sales. She already beat her with "A Moment Like This" so it will be 1-1 if she doesn't top Leona. Where I haven't seen any of that
October 13, 200916 yr Im delighted Alexandra us beating robbie to number 1 as i think the number 1 is far more crucial for alexandra, im not a huge fan of either songs but i think bad boys is better than bodies, however both are winners as they will both have huge sales. I hope Cheryl goes number 1 next and i do think she has a very good chance of doing it. Im shocked the saturdays album isnt her and im happily surprised the Veronicas are top 30 as i was expecting it tto be top 60 or something, sadly album sales seem dire again this week.
October 13, 200916 yr here For someone to write such a detailed post about how Alex is BB not going to top Leona BL, thats what I was referring to. Incorrect. The multiplication factor from Tuesday Mids -> Sunday Sales has changed due to the shift away from Physicals to Downloads. When Physicals were still a major factor in releases (such as in 2007, when BL was released), the multiplication factor from Tuesday Mids -> Sunday Sales was around 3-3.5. Bleeding Love's was 3.3. In the download era, this factor is now somewhere between 2.0 and 2.5, particularly for heavily front-loaded tracks. The shift has occurred due to the fact that in the physical era, physicals were only available from Monday onwards therefore only 1 day of physicals were factored into the Tuesday mids, whereas now 2 days of downloads are factored into the Tuesday mids, hence the lower multiplication factor to Sunday Sales. Where a particular record sits/sat in the spectrum of 3-3.5 (physicals) and 1.9-2.5 (downloads) depends on how frontloaded the sales are. I'd expect Alexandra to be somewhere in the middle range of this (probably a bit lower than middle) due to the X Factor performance and the anticipation/repressing of the single, therefore I think her multiplication factor will be around 2.2-2.4. That would give her sales of approx 195-215k. Edited October 13, 200916 yr by Andy.
October 13, 200916 yr It's hardly worrying that she will. He just stating the facts and pointing out that it may happen but is unlikely due to the changes in how the weekly layout of the chart is.
October 13, 200916 yr To be honest, 'Bad Boys' has definitely grown on me, but in no way should it top 'Bleeding Love's sales. 'Bleeding Love' is by far the superior song, and should stay like that, sales wise. But saying that, I'm happy for Alexandra! Brilliant sales :D
October 13, 200916 yr I hope shakira can hold on to the top 3, i need to buy it, unhappy about us only getting 10 songs tho... Hopefully it will keep selling well and at least climb to number 2 =]

October 14, 200916 yr Well, I'm not annoyed by Flo's part in 'Bad Boys', also I must admit I enjoy it, the song would lose something without Flo, so he deserves the credit.
