October 14, 200916 yr Author And looking at the top 40 chart for today, there are no Lady GaGa tracks inside the top 40, that must be the first time this year since the beginning of the year. The Big Pink has edged Paparazzi out
October 14, 200916 yr Jordin non mover Jennifer Hudson And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going Thankyou very much Mikey, much appreciated.
October 14, 200916 yr According to Dean Piper (Sunday Mirror's showbiz editor/This Morning bloke): "Alexandra Burke's extending her lead over Robbie Williams....she's now sold 114,000 compared to his 56,000. Impressive!"
October 14, 200916 yr Author Where are Cascada - any movement?! Not in the top 40 charts, which is all I have. Ara Sugababes still Top40? Nope, finally out.
October 14, 200916 yr Author According to Dean Piper (Sunday Mirror's showbiz editor/This Morning bloke): "Alexandra Burke's extending her lead over Robbie Williams....she's now sold 114,000 compared to his 56,000. Impressive!" That's around 25.5k for Tues, if she does the same for the next 3 days, and 30k for Sat, I roughly estimate around 220k for the week
October 14, 200916 yr Yep should easily clear 200k and almost certainly 210k. Interesting to see if it tails off on iTunes as the week goes on. I assume she has other promo lined up. (btw think it was 24.6k yesterday 114k - 89.4k)
October 14, 200916 yr I am surprised Cascada is flopping so hard after just having a number 1 hit though maybe the song isnt the best on the album
October 14, 200916 yr If Ryan's around, could he please give me any Cascada info for Dangerous, ETD - the single & ETD - the album. Thanx in advance! :) I am surprised Cascada is flopping so hard after just having a number 1 hit though maybe the song isnt the best on the album All their singles that have been released after their album release have flopped so far except for maybe Because The Night, the flop was so predictable an old-Cascada sound right after their new one was never going to go down well commercially - whereas with Fever (the 2nd Euro single) it's already a different story simply because they stuck to their new sound for single choices of this era. Dangerous's flop has been much harsher in comparison to A Neverending Dream and What Do You Want From Me's, maybe because it's a much a inferior song on its own in comparison. That said, I really hope and pray that Fever is the 3rd single and Everytime I Hear Your Name is the 4th - together they are the formula to Cascada's redemption in this era. I don't see anything else except for maybe Breathless redeeming them. Still in a hope that it can make the top 75, missing it altogether would be disasterous!
October 14, 200916 yr Author Anyway nobody expected Cascada to have a #1 with Evacuate The Country or whatever its called, I reckon it was more of a fluke :kink: .
October 14, 200916 yr Alexandra and Robbie still selling very well, it will give the singles a great sales boost, Where is Shakira in the singles?
October 14, 200916 yr Author I'm guessing KoL were overtaken by Lostprophets and Mr Hudson and are now #23 Close +1
October 14, 200916 yr Author Ooh, who else leapfrogged them? Is it Editors? Yep and Paloma Faith is down to 20+3
October 14, 200916 yr Yep and Paloma Faith is down to 20+3 Hmm, so if I've figured correctly, 21-24 is JHud, Editors, Paloma, KoL. Awesome. Could I also have positions for Lostprophets and Mr Hudson? Absolutely THRILLED to see Lostprophets top 20, I really hope they can holdit.
