Zoe Lucker is amazing. I love her.

A love interest for Max.. That is interesting.

Great casting, but she is not permanent

And a lot of big names are on the cutting list in the next 2 years. Oops, I do wonder who is getting the chop.

How on earth would you know that?

Edit: I see you're going off a News Of The World article. I'm sure they're completely in the know. *nods*

EastEnders triumphed in the Thursday evening soaps battle for the seventh consecutive week yesterday evening, according to overnight figures.

The Walford soap's third and final edition of the week, which saw Ronnie trying to help a young little girl find her father, drew 8.95m (38.1%) at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile, Gail's court appearance in Coronation Street was witnessed by 8.14m (31.4%) from 8.30pm.

Since ITV unveiled its new drama schedule last July, EastEnders has logged 21 wins to Coronation Street's 13. The BBC soap has topped the ratings for the last seven weeks following a tie in the figures on January 28. Before that, EastEnders led for a further six weeks.

BBC Three's 10pm repeat of last night's EastEnders added a further 805k (4%).

It was a $h!t episode. The whole "Rickie not being able to sack Billie" thing was painful to watch - when will they quit with the device of someone not quite being able to tell someone what they need to and getting interrupted or bottling it?

Same with Ronnie not being able to speak to the dad of the kid - whoever he was.

Glee - Don't Stop Believin' playing in Eastenders feels very bizarre somehow  TV crossover!

It was all I could actually listen to, bizarrely, it's like they put it on loud for a reason?

Ben did make me smile in tonight's episode with his bitchy queen attitude to Louise. Who'd ever have thought, but his rubbish hissy fits are fast becoming an EE highlight!

That's what I thought! And I actually thought he was GOOD when he was talking to Ronnie in the cafe too. (Yesterday's episode I think?) I really hope they don't turn him into a hetero though, so much scope to see a little gay develop from a baby.

And more specifically Phil Mitchell's baby!

Well, yes. That goes without saying.

Loved that scene from Ben lol. Phil accepting his gay son is going to very interesting.

Chelsea and Jack quite cute too I must admit. "You were right about his halitosis?", "His hally-what?"

I know Jacksea/Chelack are going to get a lot of hate though! :kink:

And once again Gillian Wright is fabulous!

I'd rather we just called them Chack.

Gillian Wright was indeed wonderful. I absolutely love (and can never believe) how incredibly convincing it is to see her flick from hysterical to blissfully happy in the space of a few seconds. She's one brilliant actress isn't she? And the girl who plays Louise seems quite promising too. It was a bit alarming to see Phil so choked up at the end!

Chack. Ugh I missed that rather obvious one staring me in the face :(

Yes Louise is definitely not too bad. I look forward to more of her scenes with bitchy Ben.

Oh my lord...

I don't even know what to say about that. I literally cannot fault it. One of the classic episodes surely. I'm speechless.

That was an unbelievable thrilling half an hour. Very good acting from both of them. Plus loved the ending where the credits came in :D

Incredible. And, I actually thought (and I'm really not a Max fan at all) that Max was as good tonight as Stacey in the acting front. He doesn't impress me usually, but he was really on the ball tonight.

After watching this in between Coronation Street (yes, I do like them both, shoot me down), Eastenders was just streets ahead, and so dramatic in all the right ways, and all so superbly acted. LOVE IT.
