I went to the MKS gig at Shepherd’s Bush it was amazing!!!

Then what happened ? Why did they not go forward after flatline ?

Then what happened ? Why did they not go forward after flatline ?

Legal issues mate! They’ve been fighting quite hard to get the Sugababes name back. Rumour is that Polydor wouldn’t proceed without it. Some say they’ve split with polydor but that’s never been confirmed officially. They’re still working together and recording things (at least 50 tracks so far) but our time line is somewhat dependent on the court case currently ongoing between Keisha and their former management team

Polydor didn’t want to continue with them as MKS? Why did they release flatline then ?

Paradise has now leaked in full and Champagne & Roses has leaked as a 45 second snippet.

 

Paradise is obviously only at a very early demo stage with minimal production and basically only a beat during the verses, but I guess for fan mixes this would be a good option to work on. Champagne & Roses also have a demo quality to it - I suspect neither would've been used if Polydor hadn't been such See You Next Tuesdays...

Seems like there's a lot leaking all of a sudden:

 

Breathe Me (Sia Cover), full version of Champagne & Roses, Garage Flowers and Up In Flames have now leaked.

 

ETA: their cover of Breathe Me is terrible - burn it, burn it with fire!!!!

 

ETA 2: Champagne & Roses is "ok", but nothing special. I assume the male vocal on the chorus at the end would've been removed if it had been polished.

 

Garage Flowers is... interesting, definitively not what I expected from the title. B-side material if polished up - clearly the ending indicates that they'd go back and work on it if used.

 

Up In Flames is by far the best of these leaks.

When I saw the title I though about the Latin singer.

Yeah the good facebook group has been extremely busy this past fortnight.

 

The new Back In The Day is much improved. Only Day and Light It Up both remain fabulous. Arrow is an utterly delightful track, a great leak. The remaining are all varying shades of thoroughly enjoyable. They would have made an excellent album

Um, so this thread has moved again...

 

Either way - a bunch of new leaks have, well, leaked: I Lay Down (original), Breathe Me demo, Back To Life, Open Book (Dallas Austin, I believe), Recover and Great Escape (an Paul Oakenfold track).

 

I kind of hope that Paul Oakenfold can polish and re-use Great Escape at some point. I had no idea they worked with him during the time they were in Los Angeles early 2013.

What the f*** is this forum?! Urgh. Honestly I give in. I’ll just stick to the FB group

 

 

I quite enjoy Great Escape. They worked with such a variety of people, I love it. From this tranche I Lay Down is the best, it’s absolutely stunning. I know we’ve basically had it for years thanks to the Swimming Pools mash up but it’s just so amazing
