Danyl isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Almost everyone acknowledges he's one of the best singers in the competition, and now he's finally got the attitude seemingly sorted, he's going to comfortably get through to the latter stages. I'm very confident Stacey is safe too; despite what the bookmakers say, I see her as the definite favourite right now.

I was very disappointed last night tbh. Olly was the only really good performance, surprisingly. Of the 3 best competitors, Danyl and Stacey were a little disappointing to me, while Lucie was technically good but it was such an awful song that it didn't really give her enough room to show off her voice.

I'm going to stick my neck out and pick John & Edward to go this evening.

My rankings this week -

01. Olly

02. Lucie

03. Joe

04. Stacey

05. Danyl

06. John and Edward

07. Jamie

08. Lloyd

Stacey I thought it was a brilliant performance! Vocals weren't perfect, but she held it together and delivered well. [stupid comment time], is it me or does she remind anyone of when Lady GaGa sings her piano acoustic sets? 8/10

Olly I knew he could nail it. The only problem is, it wasn't relevant. It's okay to say, "Wow that was amazing, he should win it!" but would his style of music work within the 21st Century? Probably not. 7/10

Lloyd Did I miss something? Was the song meant to go from John Lennon to Sean Kingston. Personally, I thought it wasn't a bad performance, one of his best. His voice just isn't strong enough, it's weak. 6/10

Jamie Wow, that was awful. He sang flatter than what Lloyd usually does. 3/10 LOL. was Louis for real?

Lucie She's probably the best vocalist in terms of a recording voice in the show. Not a fan of the song, but she probably has the most potential there. 8/10

Danyl Meh, for such a big power ballad, that was pretty lifeless. Really not a fan of his vocal. 2/10 SIMON STOP BUM-RAPING HIM!!!!!

Jedward They deserve to win it, because it would make a mockery of the show and Simon Cowell esp, who seems that this year, has pretty much lost his 'mojo'. 10/10

Couldn't be bothered to watch Joe, not a fan.

The more Simon keeps bumming Danyl the more the public are going to turn against him, don't be so sure, he is 99% $h!t 1% Leona, his one awesome moment per song does not wipe out the 99% mediocrity

Olly I don't see him as a recording artist, he is great at singing 60's and 70's songs but that is not what the teenage public go out and buy, last nights performance would have been great on a cruise ship or at cabaret in a holiday camp

I think the difference for Leona was Simon was not bumming her from day one he had a hard on for that Ashley guy and when he got voted out it was then he got into Leona. Also, the entire public could see how good Leona was whereas Danyl is just $h!t and unlikeable.

My opinion:

Stacey- 6/10- quite weak overall, think she could be introuble tonight

Olly- 7/10- Not as good as last week, but should easily be safe and is still the one to beat

Lloyd-3/10- Worst of the night, deserves to go, although unfortunately, he may not.

Jamie- 5/10- I actually found this quite weak, he could well go tonight

Lucie-9/10- Very good- appeals to the younger people too, should be safe

Danyl-7/10- It was good that he wasnt cocky but wasnt pathetic either, might survive, but might not

John and Edward-10/10- Just brilliant!

Joe- 8/10- Solid performance, if unspectacular- should be safe

What i think may happen:

Lloyd and Jamie- Lloyd going

Lloyd and Danyl- Lloyd going

Jamie and Danyl- Jamie going

Lloyd and Stacey- Lloyd going

Lucie and Jamie- Jamie- on judges, could be Lucie on public vote

Stacey and Jamie- Jamie on judges, could be Stacey on public vote

Lloyd and Lucie- Lloyd going

Lloyd and Joe- Lloyd going

Jamie and Joe- Jamie going

01: Stacey Solomon 'Son of a Preacher Man' 8.5

She's had better, yes, but she still pretty much nailed it. A few "off" parts but I thought she did it very well! She looked fit too!

-----------------------------------------

02: Olly Murs 'Twist & Shout' 9

Bloody hell! Brilliant performance. He is going to takeover Stacey as my favourite in a few weeks. I am totally seeing the comparisons about Robbie Williams entertainment factor, with a voice like Will Young.

-----------------------------------------

03: Lloyd Daniels 'Stand By Me' 1

BLAND! DULL! BORING! FLAT! That is all! :puke:

-----------------------------------------

04: Jamie Archer 'Crying' 3

What on earth was THAT?! Fucking shit! That's what it was!

-----------------------------------------

05: Lucie Jones 'This Is Me' 9

Well. If you told me after her first audition, she would be best singing the teeny pop-rock songs I would have laughed in your face, but this is perfect for her! :o

-----------------------------------------

06: Danyl Johnson 'Purple Rain' 4

What's with the new Reggie Yates look? God his voice annoys me but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be :o. I also agree with what Steven Mulhern said on Xtra Factor about his personality and sympathy looks etc... is all an act at the moment, to try and steer people away from him looking too over confident and stuff.

-----------------------------------------

07: John & Edward 'Ghostbusters' 6

LMFAO! Although it really was a good song for them! HAHA!

-----------------------------------------

08: Joe McElderry 'Circle of Life' 6

Meh. his worst performance to date imo. Not bad. But it bored me.

Favourites:

01: Olly Murs

02: Lucie Jones

03: Stacey Solomon

----------->>>Quite some distance

04: Joe McElderry

05: John and Edward

-----------

06: Danyl Johnson

07: Jamie Archer

08: Lloyd Daniels

I'm sorry but if Lloyd isn't bottom 2 this week I'll will be so fucking annoyed!

I think the bottom 2 will be Jamie and Lloyd.

I actually thought Danyl was ok last night, and his new hair really suited him.

To all Danyl fans ..... this is how Purple Rain should sound like in a TV talent contest:

Ruth Lorenzo - Purple Rain

I was thinking of that performance when he performed last night.

Ruth owned him!

Possibly one of the best performances on the X-Factor ever  The fact that it went to deadlock that night by Cowell was ridicolous.

Stacey worries me tonight. If shes bottom 2 with Jamie I can see them going to deadlock again, and her maybe not surviving. I was sure Lloyd would be saved because he was bottom 2 las week but now im not so sure.

Ruth Lorenzo - Purple Rain

And it's even better in person, live
its been soo average this year compared to last years. there was 7 acts I LOVED last year, I cant name one that I actually Love, hmm

IMO Purple Rain should've been retired after Ruth sang it as nobody could ever come close to it on a talent show, I was really hoping Danii or Louis had the guts to say it wasn't in the same league as Ruth's but alas :(

My ranking

1. Ollie :o

2. Lucie - still my favourite and another decent performance last night.

3. Danyl - vocally good but Ruth >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Danyl

4. John and Edward  Their vocals weren't too bad actually

5. Joe - his worst by a mile

6. Jamie ;| - pretty sure he'll bottom 2 it tonight

7. Stacey - dissapointing, I think she's in the running for a bottom 2.

8. Lloyd - really poor, even Jedward surpassed him vocally, he may get a rebound vote though.

I think in a Jamie vs Stacey bottom two Stacey would easily stay! Louis would choose Stacey by a mile, and I think Cheryl would too!

I think It's going to be Lloyd and Jamie in the bottom two. I'm sure if nothing else Stacey's bubbly personality will see her through.

I'm inclined to think Danyl could be in trouble too.....but I get the feeling now that he's going to do a Ruth or Beverley and make it to 4th-5th.

Also according to the Sunday World in Ireland today, Louis Walsh asked Linda Martin for help with Jedward before the show started and she looked after them in the Olympia theater for three days and taught them how to act and performance skills. I swear that woman can't just have eurovision now she wants x factor....she'll be asking Louis Walsh to get her a place as a judge next.

So all jedward haters can blame Linda Martin.......
