Cheryls great but kesha and britney should be higher this week. Edited November 12, 200916 yr by andyboiuk
November 12, 200916 yr I can't imagine Happy sticking about really, I only enjoy the song with the video, I imagine it will drop pretty fast.
November 12, 200916 yr  Yet they wouldn't be #1 this week without their X Factor performance either. ^_^ Well I know, but at least it's not another X Factor act. It's sort of the best you can hope for these days.
November 12, 200916 yr All i am saying is, to use another example, some artists try so hard to crack america, they try for years and its so difficult and very few manage it. Leona wasnt even a year old and she got spots on american idol, oprah winfrey and good morning america all on the back of simon cowell. She cracked america in days just because of mass over exposure. So all i am saying is, i can understand why it does annoy some people. Susan boyle is the same, she became famous in america in hours as an opera singer, some singers try years to do that. Its not what you know, its who you know. And rumour has it Simon is going to help launch CC over in the States. will you then put CC into the same catogory as LL, JLS, SuBo etc ? No? thought not
November 12, 200916 yr I must admit, the people who have bought 5 copies of the album must be faw and far between. More or less like those fans who bought 50 copies of "The loving kind", including that who proudly showed us a picture of it...
November 12, 200916 yr I do like Leona, but i hope BEPs beat her to the top! It's getting close :o If BEP do get #1 when was the last time 3 singles all made #1 from the same album?? I'm still holding out hope that Robbie will beat JLS. :D Edited November 12, 200916 yr by Glyn
November 12, 200916 yr Is gonna be close. I reckon it's too close to call at the moment, although I reckon BEPs might make it. Happy is just such a poor lead single, it's so dull. Meet Me Halfway is excellent and regardless of the X Factor performance, a 3rd single off an album going to #1?! That would be something in this age! Whilst i'm really pleased for JLS as well, I really wanted Robbie to get the #1 album. Don't think he'll get it now which is a bit of a shame, but i'm pleased for JLS all the same.

If Leona isn't a consistant seller then maybe he has a chance of climbing *crosses fingers* I was gonna wait until christmas for Robbie but I think I might run to HMV to get it tomorrow in the hope he'll overtake again! Then again maybe if the rumours are true for tomorrow then that could work in his favour ;)
November 12, 200916 yr I wonder how the babes are holding up! (Im not complaining, I want them to be a TOP5!!) cause on iTunes they peaked at #6 and now they are at #8 unfortunately Physicals are selling well I guess? Their GMTV performance was so amazing, that HAS to earn them some extra copias sold! They deserve it Question:[/b][ Are the BABES too far away from #5 sales wise? and too close to #7 and #8??? Can someone answer me this please
November 12, 200916 yr When it was Pixie vs David Guetta for #1, it was extremely close all week, and David Guetta went ahead on iTunes. But Pixie's song was played during X-Factor on Saturday night, which DID help. When you're talking about the difference being (potentially) hundreds of copies, being played during X-Factor does have an influence, and you can bet Simon Cowell won't miss the opportunity. They're probably booking TV ad spots for this weekend as we speak  Haha, wonder if they're lining up someone to perform Happy on the show on Saturday :heehee:
November 12, 200916 yr Robbie has wished JLS good luck on his website. They may be No1 on Sunday, but I'm sure Robbie will sell more copies eventually. Its not how you start its how you finish
November 12, 200916 yr No, the chart runs right through to 23.59 on Saturday evening. I think it'll be done and dusted before then, I can't see Leona holding on now :( Didn't know that thanks. Cowell will pul out all the stops then.
November 12, 200916 yr Author why is Britney still only #7? arghh Britney is only available on downloads, that's why she and Ke$ha are lower than the rest of the acts in the top 6.
November 12, 200916 yr Simon's kinda put his foot in it though - if he hadn't voted for Lucie to be out, you could garentte (spelling) that he would sweet talk Dannii into getting Lucie or Stacey to sing Happy - can't really see Danni falling for his charms to get Stacey to sing it this week! In saying that - Danyl will probably sing it! (By the way, I have no idea what theme week it is for X Factor and just taking the mick of all the X Factor goings on - please don't take this literal and start arguements) Edited November 12, 200916 yr by Knightr634
November 12, 200916 yr Robbie will def sell more copies of his album, prob a million seller. Jls is only a first week thing, i bought both albums and theirs is 90's dross.
November 12, 200916 yr More or less like those fans who bought 50 copies of "The loving kind", including that who proudly showed us a picture of it... It wasn't as many as 50 and that was actually my mate who is a very nice person. But she knew she was alone in doing it, its not like all fans did it. I bought one copy. All i am saying is, people are making out as though JLS are only doing well because of 5 different covers and its not true. They are doing well because they have released an album with two number ones on it.
November 12, 200916 yr Britney is only available on downloads, that's why she and Ke$ha are lower than the rest of the acts in the top 6. didnt realise physicals still had this much of an affect, Britney must surely be very close to the Sugas
November 12, 200916 yr To the best of my knowledge there isn't a rock chart published, so in such a case it would be difficult to know what to make a prediction of. The multicharts are based on the member personal chart so it's not reflective of sales. The OCC release a UK Rock Singles chart (The top 40 of which is published on their and the Radio 1 Charts site... Just wondered if anyone new the level of sales for it? #1 last week was Biffy Clyro's The Captain (for the 2nd week) and #40 was Kid Rock's All Summer Long...
