Mariah isn't performing this series. She is on Strictly TONIGHT though and Lily Allen next week which should give whould have known a kick up the ass! It's a shame Alesha isn't allowed to perform on Strictly anymore (the BBC said they can't be seen to be promoting her music...not that that stops Cowell promoting that thug Cheryl every week on ITV BUT I suppose that is a commercial network which is different) it would really have helped "To love again".

I think it'll be XFF and RiRi top 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Jason DeRulo ended up doing a 'Birthday Sex' :( Predicted to do well but only spend a couple of weeks in the Top 20. Hope I'm wrong though and it goes Top 5, which is where it's heading I should think.

The hype (USA #1 blah blah) alone should guarantee a top 10 at least, and it's not exactly had 'poor' airplay. I think it could actually be just about feasible that it will shock everyone and go to #1.

Tbh, my prediction for Earthquake is a #67 smash with 2 weeks top 100, a la Cascada 'Dangerous'. I don't know why it's flopping though =(

I wonder if a lot of take that fans will go for alesha because gary wrote it with her didn't he? I think alesha could go either way next week.

If 'Earthquake' flops, then it's over for this era imo. I can't see the label doing anything else. Seeing as 'New In Town' flopped on it's arse, 'Remedy' still a big hit, but not as big as it was hoped (well for me anyway), and 'Earthquake' looking possible to miss the Top 75! Plus the fact the album has never really regained much after the flop. :(

 

She's lucky she's got enough hype still to do a second album.

I've not actually heard the song, and tbh, some of Miley's songs as HM are quite good, such as 'The Best of Both Worlds', but most are awful.

Seeing as 'New In Town' flopped on it's arse

it didn't do that bad, 13 was alright, but it did deserve top 10 though.
