this is such a petty little thing but i wish they'd use black writing rather than white cos it just looks like 'earing beyonce'.. same with the bad romance cover using red..

Agreed. Such horrifically bad covers must decrease sales. I'd never buy a physical with a cover like that.

Rumoured to be opening the Grammy's with Beyonce on the 31st.

Oooh i hope thats true it would make sense since they both are gonna be there, and it would surely rocket the single into the top 10, which is good considering the video isnt even out yet!

I think it will be at least Top 3 for her.

It's been floatinga round the top 50 for quite some time now which will have an impact on it's final peak, I'm thinking this will be a #5 smash with a decent chart run.

Apparently the video is being filmed today.

Also heard was that its sort of a continuation of Paparazzi video and begins with Bey breaking GaGa out of prison.

Lady Gaga is opening the Grammys 2010

 

As the biggest manes in music ready for their night in the spotlight, it has been announced that Lady GaGa will be opening up the 2010 Grammy Awards. To be held on Sunday night (January 31), the “Poker Face” singer will be quite the busy lady - as she’s also one of the awards show favorites with six nominations.

 

Confirmed.

Semi Precious Weapons (GaGa's supporting act, and Lower East Side friends) are making a cameo:

 

"driving to the desert to make a cameo in gaga and beyoncé's new video for "telephone" - crazy"

 

Appears some of it is being shot in the desert then.

 

Luenell (of "Borat" fame) is apparently shooting the video also:

Tyrese Gibson is the leading man in the video.

I don't know if this this is where you post rumors or whatever but i was just listening to the radio, Kiis ( www.kiisfm.com ) and the music news reporter lady said something about the telephone video being shot tomorrow and Friday, she said SHE HEARD the ending is SUPPOSEDLY of GaGa & Bee's head on a rotating neon floor with their hearts in their mouths,blood dripping on the floor, with a phone wire connecting their heads together...

Couple updates:

 

The first day of shooting has just wrapped

 

There is also a huge choreographed dance sequence in the middle of the dessert in a diner. Apparently Beyonce showed up and learned the choreography right before shooting.

 

Gaga is said to have a phone made out of hair on her head and Beyonce is wearing an amazing wig with bangs.

 

In addition to what has already (apparently) been confirmed:

 

- Theme is women in prison

- Director is Jonas Åkerlund (Paparazzi music video)

- GaGa and Beyonce asked Tyrese Gibson to be the leading man in the video

- Doll-e Girl got a part in the music video and is scheduled for friday.

- Beyoncé probably won’t be dancing and is rumored to rescue GaGa in the music video. She’s also scheduled for 1 day of shooting. DEBUNKED

- The video will take place in the desert
