There is no need to analyse which of Leona's tracks are selling more than others. With the "Complete My Album" function, the casual fan usually just downloads a few random tracks they like the sound of. It's just a way of checking if you want to get the whole album. Some songs always do a little better than others. Also, a few songs usually have a little buzz about them, or the name is familiar.

 

The main point is that the sales a so tiny at this stage, it doesn't matter at all. Leona's second single will perform well with the promo and airplay it will receive.

I agree, I don't want it in the top 40! It seems a shame when on the week of an albums release potential singles get cherrypicked, ruining the albums lifespan! OMH hopefully will be No.1 in Febuary 2010!!

It probably isn't even going to the charity. Simon Cowell probably donates his own money and bribes the charity to use their name so the single will sell.

Simon's tactics come out again. Last year, it worked against Diana Vickers when they announced Hallelujah was going to be the winners single, because it was then rumoured to be a fix. Maybe, he's trying to use the same tactic on Stacey this year. The man knows what he's doing when it comes to the media aswell, with Max Clifford on his side.
