Even if sales of the X-Factor single drop 50%, the figure will still be quite high, and Rihanna won't have that X-Factor boost in her first week.

 

And is there really any point in her having an official single release, with the album out on Monday. ppl will just cherry pick what they want anyway.

 

Maybe they plan to cancel the single release (like they did for Mariah) and just release the album.
