Oh. My.

This is atrocious in every single way. Ok, it's for charity, but do you really want THAT at the top of your music chart? It's just a disgrace for all the artists out there trying to come up with something good.

And what is Peter Kay involvement in this exactly? All I can see is an animated short film, is he a graphic video designer/maker? Or did he just hire people to do it and put his name on it?

The song itself is just a rubbish medley of famous songs, with atrocious/child vocals. The X Factor song is rubbish, but at least they can sing. If you really care about money, give your money directly to CIN, no need to buy this rubbish.

thank you!

wow, I'd hate to see rihanna lose to this. :(

It's amazing though

I can see what's amazing really... I would never put this into my ipod. The short film itself can be seen as "cute" for all the references, but that's about it.

If this goes to number, it'll be a sad day for British music and a very depressing way to finish the decade :(

Well, it might be plain awful but I'd much rather see Peter Kay at #1 than the X Factor Finalists.. put it that way.

Its no worse than alot of other crap thats clogging up the charts recently and certainly would'nt be the worst number 1 ever either... not even of the past year.

Its a thousand times better than the X Factor's cheap effort at a charity song...

And you asked above how PK was involved... Well guessing from everything that he said, it was his idea, helped to get people involved and did quite a bit of the singing as well.

once again, I 101% agree with you. the music of britain will reach a new low in the following decade if this does as well as the highest seller of the year.

Peter Kay isn't credited explicitly though - it's clearly credited as 'Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band'. He's obviously just the producer or something...

Quiyte frankly if it make #1 it will break the dominance of the "musical cancer" © Sir Paul McCartney that is Simon Cowell's X-Factor.

I'm just sad it was not available for buying a week earlier so it could have beaten the musical rape of You Are Not Alone; just as Peter Kay's spoof The Winner's Song out sold Leon Jackson last year.

Anyone who is hated by Simon Cowell is alright by me.

I'm pretty sure one of the characters is him as well isn't it? Sounds like him anyway...

I guess you would rather Simon Cowell product plug a Charity record on his own show where he keeps 75% of the profits than a Charity record for a very worthwhile cause where that cause gets 100% of the profits.

Give yourself a round of applause for stupidity.

Quite a good idea, but I don't think the end product is very good. Hope it doesn't get to #1 :(

The X Factor single may be bad, but at least that features the AMAZING Jedward

So does Susan Boyle still have a chance of getting #1, as she's performing on X Factor?

Yeah, he's that mechanic at the beginning which is from some kids show.

I agree, the song is awful but I think it's a good video to watch, to spot all the characters etc. and it's quite amazing that he seems to have got a lot of the original voice actors to do it.

I was looking for Budgie the Helicopter tbh. :(

Not checked this for a couple of days and am very shocked to see XFF at no3 now :o

Its a good thing though :D

Well, actually this point isn't accurate since we would most probably get a non X Factor #1 this week anyway: Susan Boyle, Rihanna or Jason surely. And I'd rather have any of those 3 than this insult to the music.

And anyway, the X Factor effect is much exagerated. Yes, most of the #1s of the last few weeks have performed on the X, but it's only due to the fact that every week the X gets two A-list artists to perform on the show, they would already do brillantly without the show. Just look at Shakira and Whitney for example, the audience isn't buying everything they see on the X. And Cheryl and the BEP would have been #1 without the X anyway.

Do you seriously think they can sing? I mean seriously? :manson:

I have a feeling 'Wild Horses' will be album only or something.

Gosh, why do you always turn it into a war between Hell and Heaven?

I don't like the X Factor cover, I don't like this neither, and I wish none of those 2 made it to #1, that's all. I want a proper number 1 this week, and not Bob the builder again.
