Really chuffed with 13th Lights finally got her deserved place as the second best song in BJSC XIII :heart:

Any song that gets 50% more points than second place is obviously a deserving winner. Proof also that 'The Girl & The Robot's points record should not have been beaten by the unbearably average and generic 'Silly Boy'.

what I find appalling is that we had only 27 voters :nocheer:...that's the reason why Silly Boy flopped :P.

Two of best songs from the past year (however you also sent the two worst songs in the final so you haven't quite cracked me yet)

Congrats an all that shiz to Ben, i'd far rather the Runner up had taken the 1st spot however.

 

 

I didn't see it during XV and i still don't see it now. I still think TGATR is the worst winner of XI-XX.

 

But y'all decided differently. Power to the people an all that jazz.

No question for me the best song of 2009 won. It certainly shames Radio 1 for completely ignoring it, and shows up what a clueless record company EMI are ... the same record label who did a similar "superb" job of promoting Eva Simons), I even remember Chris Moyles' producer Aled rubbishing the track, when Chris Moyles played With Every Heartbeat.

 

Hopefully the late September/early October rumour of a certain Australian pop princess covering that song turns out to be true and is released in 2010 (mind you Dannii's sister has a long track record of recording songs and not releasing them), and gives that song the status it richly deserves.
