Its over, stick a fork in it it's done, they might as well split or have the plug pulled on them by the record label

There is no point flogging a dead horse, Sugababes is history :(

Sugababes is like an elderly aunt in pain on their deathbed, part wants them to cling on to life and the bigger part wants them to fade away to end their suffering

Thats how I see it with Sugababes

Time to pull the plug

They shouldn't call it a day yet.

They need to find their own sound with the next album. Jade was re-recording vocals that were written in a particular style for Keisha to sing. Their voices are completley different and Jade just didn't pull it off, IMO.

People keep saying that, but that's not true. The tracks were written before the Sugababes went of to LA. They weren't made just for the Sugababes. So they weren't made to fit Keisha's voice in. Besides, it's not about Jade's voice, she's got a great voice. It's about the musical style.

The US edition of Sweet 7 will probably look more like this, to make the girls seem interesting:

1. Get Sexy Ft. Justin Bieber

2. Wear My Klit

3. About 3 Girls 1 Cup

4. W8 4 U

5. Thank You For The FlopHate

6. Mizz Everyfing Ft. Sean Kingston, Jason Derulo & IYAZ

7. Keisha's A Mess

8. Give Me Sex Now

9. We'll Never Cra$h N Burn Ft. Ke$ha

10. No More Us

11. Our Album is Sweet N Awesome (Make it number 1!)

12. Lil Miss Perfect Sugababes

Someone posted that on the digitalspy forum. I had a good laugh, love the album titles. Especially the collaboration with Justin Bieber :P.

Why the f*** do people keep bringing Girls Aloud into this whole thing?

Jealous much?

Waste of time

They have lost most of their fan base, 11,000 sales is laughable sadly

They have lost their identity, instead of a trio turning out beautiful harmony they are 3 solo artists bundled together to turn out generic pop tunes, they have totally lost their identity and lost their fanbase, Jade is not Sugababe material too

If they were to have even the slightest hope of regaining any credibility they would have to totally go back to basics and again the media and public would laugh at yet another piece of flip flopping at Sugababes and it would not work

Its a lost cause and not one worth saving

I brought them up and the Saturdays for a clear reason, didn't exactly say they was $h!te. You don't half try and pick arguments sometimes, it's boring.

I knew all along it would miss the top 10, I was predicting this since before christmas and it landed at the exact position I was predicting it to earlier in the week. I expect probably a sharp fall to like #36 next week and so forth from then onwards.

I think this really is it for them now, losing every original member is one blow too many and ultimately provided the final nail in the coffin, I don't think there's anything they can do now no matter what sort of sound they try and attempt for the next album if they get one.

It's a shame it came to this really.

I wouldnt write them off just yet, the main problem this album has is there is no killler single, i agree that all original members being departed hasnt helped but if they can get a killer single it could turn everything around. Personnely i dont think it is all down to who is in the band now as this album was more or less the same before jade joined, so the material for this album never seemed that strong, i think whats worrying is they didnt learn from the mistakes of catfights regardless of who left or didnt, thats 2 albums in a row that had no killer single and both album suffered for that, previous successful albums by the sugababes were heavily boosted by a killer number 1 lead single.

11,000 sales also indicates that only die hard fans bought the album and it had no appeal outside that circle.

They shouldn't call it a day yet.

Completely agree. Although personally, I think Jade pulled it off extremely well. I don't think it had anything to do with the writing, it's just Jade had to sing, to a style, that didn't suit her vocally. The next album, there should be more 'Crash & Burn''s/'My Man''s as it'll suit Jade (and the rest of them) really well. IMO.

Poor example

The Saturdays are not a laughing stock because of so many line up changes leaving none of the original Saturdays left

The Saturdays have not lost 95% of their fanbase

The Saturdays have not lost their identity musically

Much as I am an Amelle loon the only thing thst MIGHT save Sugababes is Mutya winning the court case and reforming with Keisha and hopefully Heidi

You sre looking at this purely from a music perspective Chazzy, it is a lot more thsn that
