I'm not sure yet, I still love BJSC and discovering new music but I'm not loving it as much as I did circa IV-XIII and XVI-XVIII for a variety of reasons but hopefully it's just a temporary blip on my part. I'm very much looking forward to XXIII though so we'll see what happens :w00t:

I was at uni when I selected Love Song in IV :kink: I logged on in the library to print off my essay and thought 'it's about time I sent Love Song to this contest, I might as well confirm it now' :o uni's a good luck charm!

 

XIX was great - reminds me of my holiday in Wales and voting in the internet cafe, listening to all of the tracks over three days :lol: it's not (the fantastic) music quality that annoys me, and I haven't found any of the XIX-XXII winners bad at all - I like all four songs - but maybe from a selfish point of view - I always know all of the winners already and it's all becoming a bit predictable! It's saddening to go into a contest with your favourite song knowing that the very best you can finish is 3rd or 4th because the top 3 is already sewn up - obviously it's not all about doing well but it's exciting to at least watch the final results and think you may have an outside chance or at least think that your favourite new discovery might have a chance to win. It's so refreshing to win with a completely new artist and song, knowing that you've introduced a great act to over 40 poeple! But this hasn't happened for ages now and it's a real shame :( I just don't think I'd get any 'buzz' whatsoever if I sent Bad Romance or even Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart and won with them, how would it feel like an achievement? They're all over the internet :lol:
