The estimates have now increased to 290-310k, but she also did Good Morning America this morning, so hopefully that'll boost her sales even more. :D

In her Year of 4 documentary is shows a clip of Beyoncé recording "I Was Here"... wow.

I had my headphones plugged into the laptop and volume high when I played that :( OW

Properly getting into this album now, although I am listening to some songs far more regularly than others. I have been listening to the end of the album a great amount, these are my playcounts:

1+1 - 13

I Care - 08

I Miss You - 06

Best Thing I Never Had - 46

Party - 07

Rather Die Young - 03

Start Over - 20

Love On Top - 11

Countdown - 21

End Of Time - 36

I Was Here - 45

Run The World (Girls) - 61 (Sometimes I listen to it and it sounds awful, and other times it sounds so good - after all this time I still don't know what I think of it)

Lay Up Under Me - 09

Schoolin' Life - 08

Dance For You - 05

Dreaming - 04

Edited by Davidson

In order of playcounts:

127 Run the World (Girls)

061 Countdown

053 I Was Here

046 I Miss You

035 Best Thing I Never Had

033 Start Over

032 Party

028 End of Time

027 Love on Top

022 Rather Die Young

022 I Care

020 1+1

012 Dance For You

009 Lay Up Under Me

008 Schoolin' Life

006 Dreaming

The bonus tracks obviously have much lower playcounts compared to the standard album due to leaking later. 'Dance For You' is probably in my top 3 of the album. So damn sexy.

Only just got round to listening to 'Dreaming'... WHY wasn't this on the normal album?! :manson:

I think it's pretty boring, tbh. Maybe I should try and listen to it a bit more, maybe it'll grow on me.

JARK. I've made a breakthrough :kink:

:P I hope it does. It's one of my favourite songs from this era already  It feels like a watered down 'Halo', but at least she doesn't seem to be shouting on it.

JARK. I've made a breakthrough :kink:

:kink: I've openly said that there are things that she's done that I don't like. I think half of Dangerously in Love is just painfully boring, for example. :P

Already posted. :kink:

I'm actually going to listen to this album in full (first Beyonce album ever) just because of LϴVETT.

Do I take that as a good thing? :kink:

Beyoncé has reportedly signed up to appear in a one-off show on ITV1.

The hour-long Beyoncé Music Special will be hosted by X Factor USA presenter Steve Jones and see the former Destiny's Child star perform her biggest hits, as well as new material.

"Beyoncé is one of the hottest international stars around right now and ITV are thrilled to get her," a source told The People. "To land her for an exclusive show is a massive coup. They are confident it will be a huge ratings success."

The singer recently headlined Glastonbury Festival and was voted the best act by Digital Spy readers. She is expected to top the US and UK album charts this week.

The music special is due to air in December after the X Factor semi-final.

I love 'Dreaming'. The bonus tracks are all really strong!

Is anyone else hearing the Eastenders theme about 3 minutes into 'Dreaming' though? Haha.

hahaaa I just had a listen and burst out laughing when those drums came in. You're so right!

This whole album remains amazing especially I Care and Girls which I've only finally just got into properly thanks to the Major Lazer version.

They really do need to bring back those "An Audience With..." The Spice Girls' version was phenomenal. They did a duet with Elton John IIRC. It was quite something.

I think they could get good ratings if they get the right stars. Beyoyo, GaGa, Coldplay etc..

My iTunes play counts are really low mainly because I play the album in the car/on the hi-fi so I don't really use my ipod to play many of the tracks. These are my truly terrible play counts so far:

1. End Of Time (22 plays)

2. Run the World [Girls] (16 plays)

3. Best Thing I Never Had (11 plays)

4. Start Over (6 plays)

I'm forever playing EOT though. :kink:

As expected, Beyoncé's fourth solo studio album, 4, bounds in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, selling 310,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

It's the diva's fourth solo No. 1 -- and fourth studio set to top the list. She's only the third act -- and second woman -- to see their first four studio albums debut atop the Billboard 200. Britney Spears did it with her first four between 1999 and 2003 while DMX's first five all started at No. 1 between 1998 and 2003.

4's sales launch is lowest of her four releases: 2008's I Am... Sasha Fierce entered with 482,000; 2006's B'Day bowed with 541,000 and 2003's Dangerously in Love started with 317,000.

Of course, 4 is thus far lacking a smash hit single, which could help explain the album's softer entry. Its lead track, "Run the World (Girls)", peaked at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 -- the first time the first single from a Beyoncé studio set has missed the top 10.

Still, 4's bow is pretty big for 2011. It marks the third-largest sales week of the year, after the No. 1 bows of Lady Gaga's Born This Way (1.1 million) and Adele's 21 (351,000).
