November 22, 200916 yr I think after the flop of I Need You Now they will abandon all the single releases of Agnes. The album is still planned for February apparently
November 22, 200916 yr Yeah, this makes her officially a one hit wonder now and it's practically impossible to claw back from that. :( here's hoping she does a Rachel Stevens then :w00t: although Rachel had Sport Relief on her side, and arguably one of the greatest pop songs of 2004 to relaunch herself

November 22, 200916 yr "Release me" got boring when it was overplayed to death :( I can't even contextualise how well Release Me did it seems odd but because I was obsessed with it last xmas, by the time it came out in May here and everyone else was singing it, it was hard to judge exactly how big it had been in realistic terms as I still saw it as 'my favourite Swedish pop song that nobody else knows' I found it odd hearing the song blasting out on UK radio, or at work...it was supposed to be a hidden gem :heehee:
November 22, 200916 yr This cover of the GNR classic is awful. It sounds like a rubbish Katie Melua wannabe mumbling her way tentatively over a near demo track that aspires to be Coldplay but fails miserably with rubbish drumming added.
November 22, 200916 yr I don't think this is as bad as a lot of people are saying, yes it doesn't touch GNR by a long shot but it's a nice different take on it. At least it's not a totally uninspiring karaoke cover version like what we'll see at the top today.
November 22, 200916 yr They leave out that 'Where do you go' bit. Edited November 22, 200916 yr by zenon
November 22, 200916 yr That Taken By Trees cover was a bit awful tbh. Edited November 22, 200916 yr by BrayFish
