Better known to her legion of adoring tween fans as fictional TV popstar HANNAH MONTANA, singer/actress Miley Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus) is the daughter of country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus, who also plays her father on the hit Disney series. Following a similar career path to Mouse House alum Hilary Duff, Miley moved easily from acting to music, with her energetic pop/rock songs proving to be an essential part of HANNAH MONTANA's runaway success. With the second MONTANA album, subtitled MEET MILEY CYRUS, the young performer made the first steps towards a promising recording career under her own name. - HMV

Record companies missing a trick yet again!

It kinda says something when it gets it's mediocre peak on the first week through album release hype, and nobody bothers with it when it comes around to the actual release.

Glasgow-via-Belfast indie-rock ensemble Snow Patrol have played everything from shambolic noise-pop a la Pavement, to a slightly droney post-rock in the vein of Mogwai, to epic lovelorn anthems modelled after Coldplay. While the band's influences are clear and undeniable, Snow Patrol are no mere imitators. Instead, they display a confidence and a sense of fun that has made them one of the most successful bands to emerge from Scotland's fecund indie scene. The band's third full-length, EYES OPEN, topped the U.K. album charts in 2006. - HMV

As the daughter of gospel/R&B singer Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston was literally born to sing. Initially a back-up vocalist and fashion model, Houston leapt to solo stardom with her self-titled debut in 1985. Since then, she has remained one of the most successful pop artists, racking up movie roles (THE BODYGUARD, WAITING TO EXHALE), platinum album sales, and the kind of admiration reserved for the very best in the music industry. Even a publicly rocky long, abusive marriage to Bobby Brown and a severe drug addiction could not derail the pop diva.

Reggie needs to stop skipping so many songs!

Maybe if he kept his gob shut he wouldn't have to

only #26 for Shakira :( even X Factor couldn't help somebody who seems to be in a league of her own...she either releases songs that become the biggest hits of the decade, or complete flops...why can't she ever have happy mediums like Beyonce etc...

that said, this is my least favourite English Shakira single to date...even though I still absolutely love it!
