The most important thing is to have great total sales and to promote the album well :)

Of course I wouldn't be against it getting to #1 :lol: But against the X Factor winner it's not like she's going to stand a chance anyway...

 

Last year the X-Factor winner(in second week) and the X-Factor finalists(1st week) sold around 310 k, this year the X-Factor finalists sold 190k, so I think that this year the X-Factor winner may also sell 190k, so if Cheryl will sell around 200 k would she has a chance to be number 1.

She won't have the x factor to perform on by then though - so she wont sell that much!

Don't forget about Cheryl Cole's Night In. And FFTL had no.1 at itunes before X-Factor.

I disagree. I don't think the resurrected Beatles recording the song and performing it on X Factor could make it sell enough to make it #1, but that's just my opinion. In reality, it's a Top 5 hit at best. (Though watch that come back and bite me on the bum like always.)

No one expected that she sold almost 300 thousand in the first week, but she did it. Third single BEP was selling more than 100, 000, this is her second single, why would not sell better, especially since going Christmas and this can have a good result in physical.

Tbh I really hope All I Want For Christmas Is You can go top 40 this week :wub:

From the great and catchy fight for this love, to one of the most flat, dull songs of the year? VERY disapointed.

I heard her album isnt very good, how much has it sold so far?
