Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga have reportedly been lined up to perform and mentor contestants, for an upcoming Michael Jackson themed X Factor show.

 

Before his death, ITV bosses were rumoured to have lined up MJ for the show himself, however now they are hoping that his sister will perform a tribute in his honour.

 

The Michael Jackson week will most likely take place during the show’s semi final week, as both Janet and Lady Gaga are scheduled to be in the UK at that time.

Well that rules out Madonna for the 6th then... (That is the semi's isn't it? :unsure:)

this Sunday is the quarters with Rihanna and Alicia Keys.

next Sunday is semi's nothing has been 100% confirmed i don't think

the week after is the final same as above

Lady Gaga will not appear on final but semi instead because she's in San Francisco performing on her Monster Ball Tour. ;)

HMV don't say ONLY HMV. I think these are estimates of total sales figures as they get totals info like any other distributor.

The final is on the 12th for 2 hours, and the results 13th also 2 hours so plenty of time for guest performers :w00t:

 

I do think GaGa is a cert for the 6th though when shes in town for JBB.

The X Factor final on the Sunday will probably be the highest rated tv show for years. BGT got 20 million on a saturday night in the summer what is this going to get on a sunday night when no one goes out on the winter.
