My god at Alicia's success... I was so sure she was destined for a flop (by her standards anyway). How wonderful!

She's not big enough.. what are they supposed to say in the introductory movie.. Has one top 10 hit.. gave guest vocals on a No 1 where she didn't even feature in the video.. brushes her teeth with a bottle of Jack in the morning.. Likes washed out rockers with big lips..

Very inspiring ^_^

Isnt it just <3

Shocked by how well Alicia is doing :o Considering she only performed like 30seconds of the song too, i thought she would end up top 20 but shes looking to hit top 10 now!

So thrilled for Alicia! Two songs in the Top 10 this week would be very impressive, maybe even three in the Top 40 if No One holds up.

[24] 19| Chris Brown - I Can Transform Ya

HTF can can anyone even *consider* buying his music after what the abusive bast*rd did to Rihanna?!

I Need You back up to #33! Hopefuly the rebounding continues, really don't want them to have a 10+ position drop this week. :( Playing With Fire doing extremely well though

Get over it! People don't have to dislike his music just because they dislike him. I think he is a prick, but I still like his music and if people like me who do like his music wish to purchase the songs he makes, then let them be. It happened 10 months ago now, me (I'm a fan of both of their music) & others are over it and other people should too. Even Rihanna and Chris are trying to move on with it by writing and producing quality music for their fans. (Whether you like it or not, Chris still has fans).

Anyway back on topic, brilliant for Alicia :o I was expecting people to forget about her by the time iTunes fixed the problem!

She probably will next year, I imagine 2010 is going to be a pretty huge year for her.

if she releases what she currently has planned as her second single, she'll be a one hit wonder :(

30STM up to #11.

What's that

What's that
30 Seconds to Mars :P

Amazing for Alicia! :cheer:

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh
Ugh, I hate the fact 'Doesn't Mean Anything' will outpeak the far superior 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart'.
Isn't that the next single?
Yes, but without X Factor, I can't see it getting to number 2 on iTunes :(
Alicia isn't exactly known for big hits throughout an album campaign either. Everybody seems to have big love for Sleeping though so perhaps it'll manage Top 10.
Absoulutely amazing for Alicia. Makes you wonder how huge could it have been if it wasnt for the I-Tunes f*** up and if she'd performed the entire song...
she seemed to get more respect for not performing the whole song, it was really nice to hear a medley, even if it wasn't the best use of her promo opportunity...

My thoughts exactly! But I'm sure (well hoping) that although they cocked up on being able to buy the songs seperately, that the sales towards the album being bought still counted. I'm sure they do. But I'm also wondering how many people didn't bother about buying it as an "album" and wanted just that song, but haven't checked back to see if it's become available or something...
