Lloyd seems to be the weakest link tonight, hope he goes tomorrow he is well out of his depth.

Just wondering if the teenage girls will still help him after those poor performances. ^_^

Please can we have Danny Dyer as a judge next year he speaks the truth on the Xtra Factor.
Although I agree that Joe is a good singer I really can't see him being too successful. The only two people I think will be able to sell large amounts are Olly and Lloyd.

For me, the only two that would sell would be Stacey and Olly. Joe is undoubtedly the best singer ... but I wouldn't buy any of his albums. I wouldn't turn the TV off if he was on (unless Dancing on Ice was on the other side) but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to him. Lloyd has absolutely nothing about him ... and I can't for the life of me see why Cheryl let him get through to the final stages when she let that guy from Chicago go! That guy had the voice, the looks ... everything ... but Cheryl chose a little munchkin instead!!!!

Danyl ... I don't know what to think. I do think the press are giving him a hard time. If he made it as winner ... I think I would at least give him the benefit of listening to what he has to sing.

Norma

Lloyd - 5 - I think overall he’s done enough to survive for another week.

A Million Love Songs - 6 - This song choice saw JLS slip into the bottom two last year, but having said that I think he gave a good performance.

I’m Still Standing - 4 - Odd performance. Good to see he conquers his fear of heights, and he does look cute with his hair.

Danyl - 7 - Deserves a place in the semi-finals, but whether he gets there is debateable.

Relight My Fire - 6 - Liking the up-tempo performance, it made a welcome change from just ballads; although it was a shame it was the first performance.

Your Song - 8 - A very good song choice delivered with originality and verve.

Olly - 5.5 - Bottom two beckons again.

Love Ain’t Here Anymore - 5 - Emotional performance? He was grinning at the audience. A rather forgettable Take hat song hasn’t helped his cause either

Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting - 6 - Another leftfield song choice, but at least he got to do his dad dancing.

Joseph 8.5 For me he is hands down this seasons’ winner.

Could It Be Magic - 7 - Arguably one of his weakest performances to date, but that’s still a cut above the rest.

Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word - 10 - The only contestant this year to up his game in the final stages.

Stacey - 5 - Just the threat of the pure ear-rape that is ‘The Climb’ should be enough reason for her to get the boot tomorrow. Tonight she proved beyond doubt she can’t win.

Rule The Word - 6 - I just didn’t feel that; perhaps having been reminded of the excellent Take That original recently, showed the mediocrity of this performance up.

Something About The Way You Look Tonight - 4 - A typical Stacey performance, but that’s about it. Truth be told it was dull as...

i agree i don't see lloyd going this week - next week i think. olly or danyl leaving tomorrow i think tbh
Did anyone watch Xtra Factor?! Bit of controversy on one of the phone calls saying something about Simon and Cheryl, not sure what. Was some good support for Dannii/Stacey though. ^_^

My ratings:

Round 1

Danyl-7/10- His least annoying yet, wasnt great vocals, but he at least tried a fast song

Lloyd-7/10- His best yet by a mile, he actually was in tune this time.

Olly-7/10- Great to see him doing a ballad that showed off his vocals, his best performance in weeks

Joe-7/10- I dont like him much, but it was a fast song and he sang it well

Stacey-9/10- The best of the first round, she sang this brilliantly

Round 2

Lloyd-4/10- Back to typical Lloyd and bad vocals- he really should go

Danyl-6/10- Well sang, but shouty and ridiculous (the childrens choir)- He should stay another week, but he may go

Olly-8/10- Great, entertaining performance that also was well sang- He should stay, I really hope so

Joe-8/10- A little 'typical joe', but beautifully sung (dont think he deserved a full standing ovation- clear favouritism)- he is definately safe

Stacey-7/10- Not as good and a bit dull, but she is great and I would prefer her to win over Joe- She should be safe

Think Lloyd really needs to go, but a shock could happen and Danyl or Olly could be out- Joe is the only one definately safe

01. Joe- JOE <3 Love his voice and he's rather endearing. First performance was great, but he's had better. I was expecting the next performance to be a big one, but it was more reserved. (which I liked) Agreed with those saying an album of his might not be as good. His style is out of fashion. He's most comparable to Gareth Gates and Will Young, both of their hit single days are over.

02. Stacey - I love Stacey still, but her performances lately all feel the same. A ballad with an inevitable big note (though different to the typical Leona/Joe/Alex/Danyl type) somewhere. (yet she doesn't get nearlty the same amount of criticism on here as Danyl...) She's still the one I'd be most excited for as winner, but I'm wanting her to do something more subtle like "The Scientist" again.

03. Danyl - I kinda liked the dancing. His singing wasn't so great on the first song, but his Elton song was really good! He's possibly the male who'd make the most appealing album to me. Any of his moments of pitchiness/flatness would be airbrushed out to leave the most interesting male voice we have left.

04. Olly - Olly is going down in my books lately. :( He was one of my early favourites, but he's gone back to being disappointing. I don't like his ballads all that much and I'm not a fan of his second song. He needs to find good uptempo songs and not this naff stuff.

05. Lloyd - I want to like him, being the underdog, but he's the blonde, Welsh, Leon Jackson. Dull and fairly monotone. His performances were competent, but not great. At this stage he has to go, I could happily see any of the others win.

I think the reason Danyl is getting the negative press is that the media know all about what has been going on in the house and are most likely disgusted by it yet have been stopped by Simon Cowell from printing the truth so they are finding and making up other stories about him that are negative. Simon can't do anything about it as he knows he has to give them something. I think the whole story will come out one day but if it were to now 16 and 17 year olds would most likely have to be pulled from the house in future seasons.

Only just caught up as I was at work when it was shown on ITV1 :( But here are my thoughts...

ROUND 1:

Danyl:

'Relight My Fire': What on Earth was that?! The worst he's ever sounded. But seeing as he was dancing at the same time, I'll let him off a couple of marks :P 4/10

Lloyd:

'A Million Love Songs': BLAND! BLAND! BLAND! Enough to put someone in a coma! His worst by far, so far! AND he was improving too :( 2/10

Olly:

'Love Ain't Here Anymore': Meh starting, but as it got on he got better. Alot better. The ending was perfect! BACK IN THE RACE! 8/10

Joe:

'Could It Be Magic': Well. We all know he is good, in fact very good vocally. But his voice is weird. Every song has the same tone and I agree with whoever it was who said something about not being able to listen to a full album of his in one go. Good performance though. 8/10

Stacey:

'Rule the World': Beautiful performance. Not her best but it was still really good! 9/10

-------------------------------

ROUND 2:

Lloyd:

'I'm Still Standing': This isn't too bad actually. I was expecting far worse. But as soon as he got into the chorus you could tell it was monotonous! What happened to using the falscetto (?) he used at the end of last weeks performance? :( Also the lift up, Eoghan Quigg anyone? 4/10

Danyl:

'Your Song': Someone give him one of those nose inhaler things please... But having said that I think he is better when he's not going OTT. Some/most parts were off, but it wasn't awful. 6/10

Olly:

'Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting': Very good. The Olly we've been missing these past couple of weeks or so is back :D I'd pay to see him live in concert. Such a good performer and got a good voice too, however as people have said before he's not very now and I can't see him being successful as an artist, maybe an albums artist but definately not a singles artist. Great performance though! 9/10

Joe:

'Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word': WOW. He nailed it, again. Not much more to say really. He showed the exact right amount of emotion and power that song needed. Brilliant. 10/10

Stacey:

'Something About the Way You Look Tonight': I do actually see where Cowell and Aaron are coming from with the starting to sound the same with her, but, I do think she deserves to win, as she is the only one who I can see having a potential future as a singles artist and manage to sell a decent amount of albums. Joe will last two albums max? Olly will be like Will Young decent selling albums but singles not doing much... Nice performance from Stacey though and I preferred it to the first one, only slightly though. 9/10

OVERALL:

=1st: STACEY: 18/20 [best: 'Something About The Way You Look Tonight']

=1st: JOE: 18/20 [best: 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word']

3rd: OLLY: 17/20 [best: 'Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting']

-------------

4th: DANYL: 10/20 [best: 'Your Song']

5th: LLOYD: 6/10 [best: 'I'm Still Standing']

My top 3 my runaway favourites. Really glad we're seeing the old Olly back tonight

Danny Dyer and Denise Van Outen on Xtra Factor know EXACTLY what they're talking about :o

or Leon Jackson

As I went out again last night I've caught up on the show this morning:

ROUND 1 (Take That):

Danyl: - Relight My Fire:

On the positive his dancing was good. But his vocals were off target despite Simon Cowell's ludicrous guff. Oh and it is a bloody Dan Hartman Studio 54 GAY Disco classic not a Take That song. All in all average. 5.0

Lloyd: - A Million Love Songs:

I've never cared for this Gary Barlow song. But you know what this is his best performance to date, as it reminds me of Leon Jackson on a good night = in-tune but completely bland and insepid. 5.5

Olly: - Love Ain't Here Anymore:

Poor start, but got better and finished strongly. But I feel the magic of his performances from earlier in the series has gone. 7.0

Joe: - Could It Be Magic:

Well, the best (only?) very good singer left in the contest. But for crying out loud this is lock stock and smoking barrel the Barry Manilow arrangement, sounding nothing like the Take That version. 9.0

Stacey: - Rule the World:

A good performance .... but not a great performance. Something is holding her back fom being great and I think that is her warbling is not pitch perfect maybe due to an endearing lack of self-belief = the complete opposite of Danyl. 8.0

-------------------------------

ROUND 2 (Elton John):

Lloyd: - I'm Still Standing: You know what he is not doing too badly on this considering the lack of vocal ability he posseses. 5.0

Danyl: - Your Song:

This song is about singing something intense and being quietly determined. Predictabily Danyl turns it into something completely and utterly inappropriate oversinging this song, and singing off key and pitch in numerous places. A truly over wrought and awful performance that just winds me up as this song is one of the greatest songs ever written ...... but not anymore. SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP. :manson: 3.0

Olly: - Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting:

A great performance. But he has sacrificied his vocals yet again. A bit screeching in places as well. I'd imagine that was far more effective live than in audio. Too Jamie liking for his own good. 6.5

Joe: - Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word:

Brilliant. Yes he might be a bit too West End/Broadway for some people's liking but he is the only class act left in the contest. 9.5

Stacey: - Something About the Way You Look Tonight:

One of my favourite Elton John songs. Again a very good, but not a great performance. I'm kind of running out of things to say about her as I'd be saying the same thing for every performance she does, as she seems to have reached her level and sadly 'Who Wants To Live Forever' was her peaking. 7.5

OVERALL out of 20:

Joe 18.5

Stacey 15.5

Olly 13.5

Lloyd 10.5

Danyl 8.0

Anyone who saw Xtra Factor would see Danyl's fans are painfully deluded and can not take any criticism whatsoever, it's actually quite embarrasing.

I quite agree on all of that Rich. Didn't see much special in that performance. Danyl was terrible on the whole last night TBH ^_^

YES! I'm not agreeing with some of your comments (particularly Danyl, I think people hate how much Simon champions him more than the actual contestant) but that's exactly what I thought. Towards the end of that song I was thinking how he was almost in Jamie territory. I hated Jamie, but usually love Olly. I think that could be what put me off that performance.

Olly to go please ^_^

I want Lloyd in the final 2

I'd like :

Winner : Joe

Runner up : Lloyd

3rd : Danyl

4th : Stacey

Lol this show is abysmal.

Next year they are getting a 5th judge and a novelty category.

WHY? Is this not what BGT is for.

There is also crap in the paper today again about Cheryl being the biggest star in the world next year after being a judge on US X Factor.

If Ant and Dec failed this bitch is going to fail.
