Besides those Christmas songs that have been around the charts this time in the download era, what "new" Christmas songs may appear in the chart?

 

Here are a few I'd like to see:

 

Dido - Christmas day

Sugababes - New year (to reminisce on the original line-up)

Britney Spears - My only wish (this year)

 

I'd love to see Spice Girls Sleigh Ride and Christmas Wrapping enter the charts! They're actually good covers and christmas wrapping is a Melanie C and Emma duet!

 

Hopefully Julian Casablancas new single "I wish it was Christmas today"! :wub:

I'm fairly sure Julian Casablancas will at least get a top 75 given his being playlisted on R1.

 

I'd also guess there'd be a second top 40 Killers Xmas song, 'iHappy Birthday Guadalupe!' (I don't know either) is doing fairly well on iTunes.

The usual ones will chart, but i'd love to see some different xmas songs hit the Top 40, it's a bit

boring seeing the same old ones there.
