It's grown on me a little now after 2 more listens ^_^
On first listen I cant say im overly impressed with this, it's decent but nothing too special.
I really like 'Rocket', even though it feels outdated and a little unoriginal
I really like it now but still would prefer for her to just re-release Number 1 or Ooh La La :kink:

Album track Believer:

Head First is going to be so very good...

Believer >> Rocket. Rocket's nice but a bit pedestrian really compared to Believer :(
THAT SAID I didn't think A&E was all that on first listen. About two years on and I acknowledge it as one of the greatest pieces of music the last decade produced, so...
Yeah but A&E wasn't a bland retread of the early 80s. So far these two songs seem to be a dilution of what was produced during the Supernature era.

I generally love anything Goldfrapp do, I'm determined to see them on tour this year!

Their stuff usually takes a little time to grow on you, but I think that's usually a good sign. "Rocket" is no exception, I hope this shapes up to be a nice hit.

Hmmm, they've kind of blown it with the dodgy, cheap-looking cover designs, but the actual music's the most important thing... "Rocket" is solid stuff...

Loving Rocket, already No.1 on my personal chart, the other track i heard 'Believer' was very good too.

I just listened to "Rocket" for the first time just now. I like it! Not disappointed at all!

Grum Remix. Much better than the original (IMO) which still has failed to fully click with me. Loving this though^

Goldfrapp were on Radio 2's Radcliffe & Maconie show tonight (circa 21:15 Hrs for 20 minutes) where they played Rocket & Believer and talked about the new album. They also played (a common R&M show item with music guests) this non Goldfrapp track as representative of the new album.

I like Rocket - but it's undoubtedly their flimsiest single to date - Christ, it even makes the appalling 'Number 1' sound like Bohemian Rhapsody.

Alison Goldfrapp's unquenchable lust for fame and big hits has steered the 'frapp in my least favourite of their directions to date, I liked Rocket - but I'm completely bored of it already.

And don't get me started on the repulsive amateur-ish tacky album cover.

Yes, it's radio friendly, yes it's catchy as scabies..... but this is WAY below par for a band worth so much more. And each and every one of the 8+ mixes I've had sent to me so far is bloody shocking.
