Man, that sats vs sugas debate was boring to sift through.

 

I think both acts are doing pretty mediocre tbh. FIO and AAG both did ok, nothing more. The sats album has sold appalingly and i can't see sweet 7 selling well atall, lets face it, it doesnt look great for either act right now.

Sugababes need a HUGE hit on their hands, only it can save the sales of S7. Instead they are going to release Wear My Kiss which isn't really huge and is on the Internet for a while.

 

The Saturdays are going to do well at last with 'Ego' saving the era. It is Top5 written all over it and the album will return to at least Top40.

 

Cheryl's '3 Words' is that type of songs which seems to stall at #11/12 forever, but at least it won't have an early peak, it's still a #1 contender.

 

Hopefully LMFAO go Top10 this week, we need something fresh in the Top10.

 

Shame Robbie's new track isn't doing well, download era has indeed spoiled its peak position.

I actually thought it must have been a new single for charity or something because i havent heard the circus. TT have already had 3 big singles from the album though and the album has sold so well already so i guess thats the answer.

 

But yeh, its very good.

I would say that because its true :rolleyes: I'm amazed at the people who think just because i am fan of GA, means i give a s**t about the success of other artists. I really don't find it that important to be so vindictive ya know? There's more things in life to have grudges against than other music artists.

The success of songs does not run in tandom with your personal definition of ''appaling''. Some, as in a lot of people do actually like/love it. If they buy it, it could get to no1, whether you think it's appaling is irrelevant.

3 Words is awful. Who does she think she is? She's one of the worst singers of this decade and she should be thankful for being picked for Girls Aloud (she was begging Newcastle to vote for her to get through) otherwise she would have lived in that awful council world she used to stay in.

She is a disposable artist with no charisma. She's relevant this year and maybe next year. Her career won't last long though.

I believe she's someone who Taio Cruz and Will.I.Am reap with praise and who the nation generally adores. I'd hardly say it's her fault! Lol. I also nearly fell off my chair at the comment about her having no charisma and her career not lasting long. She's made it this far partly because of her personality and that spark that she is. She's a fantastic performer no matter what you think of her vocal ability. And not last long? Hello - she's already had a 7 year long music career! What a pathetic comment...about as deluded as calling Wordshaker a hit! What is with this thread?????

Hello? She's been in GA for 7 years and I really like them all together. But let's not deny it - she is the weakest singer out of 5. Maybe u should youtube her performances from the early days.
